What people love about Nile Cruises from Luxor
- 5 Days – 4 Nights Nile Cruise 5 stars from Luxor to Aswan
I had an amazing experience on this tour! The guide was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, making the history come alive with fascinating stories. The organization was seamless, and we had plenty of time at each site. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting. My tip for future travelers is to wear comfortable shoes and bring a hat, as it can get quite hot during the day.
- From Luxor 4 Days 3 Nights Nile Cruise WITH GUIDED TOURS + FREE GIFT TOUR "ABU SIMBEL"
The cruise was nice. The ship accommodations were good, however a lot of times the hallway to the rooms would often smell like cigarette smoke. Our room had an issue with the AC not cooling and we had to switch rooms. Also, the bathroom in both rooms had a leak from the toilet and our floor was always wet. The food was a bit repetitive and wasn’t always appealing, and you are charged for any drinks including water. However, the staff were all incredibly nice and helpful, and the laundry service was fantastic. Our guide for the cruise was awesome, he was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Overall it was a good trip down the Nile but the ship needs some updating.
- Nile Odyssey: Luxor - Aswan -Abu Simbel - Hot Air balloon A5 days with tour guided
This was my first Direct Tour experience ever and my first time to Egypt. My first impression of the Cruise Ship Princess Sarah was it definitely not the ship I saw in pictures but it still had a lot of the same flavor. Prior to this 4 day cruise, I had only been on a Carnival Cruise, which is a completely different animal. The rooms are small but you don't spend much time in them anyway. The mattresses could use some replacing as the firmness did bother my wife's back but I was fine! Make sure you get your phone carrier's International plan because there is a daily charge on the ship for WiFi and it only works in one room of the ship. The staff at Direct Tour was great! They keep in constant contact with you to make sure everything is running smoothly. My tour guide was wonderful! He made sure that all our needs were taken care of, including driving us to a clinic to make sure we had a Covid19 test in time to return from our trip back home. We found that our guide was very knowledgeable about everything Egyptian, not to mention, he was an Egyptian native himself. He made sure we knew what to expect and what to avoid when approached by local street merchants. Overall it was a great trip and a great experience! I would certainly use Direct Tours again in the future and I can't wait for my next trip!
