What people love about Machu Picchu Tours from Lima
- Journeys: Explore Machu Picchu National Geographic Journeys
Excellent guide. Went the extra mile when required. Knowledge local guides who took their time to explain history, archaeology, culture, etc.
- PERU JEWELS - 10 DAYS (Lima - Cusco & Puerto Maldonado)
We did many cool things in Peru and the communication from Waman was very good throughout. But our busy schedule took its toll, as we were all exhausted by the end. The four of us ended up with some form of salmonella (my mom was the only one hospitalized, but we all had the same symptoms and received treatment accordingly.) The days that start at 4:00 a.m. and end at 11:00 are quite unreasonable - more so than I thought it would be when we read it on paper. My parents are 80 and 83, and just couldn't keep up with the pace. Between running low on energy and dealing with illness, they had to skip several activities. I'm 59 and my son is 39 and WE had a hard time doing all the things. We did love the sights and experiences, i just feel like the Peru Jewels either needs to either cut out one of the three venues, or extend it to a full two weeks. Our guides did a nice job, both those contracted and those hired by Waman. The Amazonia experience was fascinating, but we were unprepared for what to expect. It was extremely hot
- INCA ADVENTURES - 7 Days (Lima and Cusco) with Domestic Flights
Wonderful Peru Trip with Waman. Have you ever dreamed of visiting Machu Picchu? we got it with Waman Adventures. We experienced the 7 Days Inca Adventure and it was absolutely amazing. This trip was everything I had hoped it to be, exploring Lima, Paracas, the Sacred Valley, learning about Peru’s history, and experiencing Machu Picchu. Our special recognition however, has to be given to our guide, Percy Huaman who kept us entertained, informed, and most importantly safe. The accommodations were more than adequate, the transportation well-planned and comfortable, the gear top notch. You could not have asked for a better overall experience.
