Costa Rica is a nature lover's paradise, the group was small and very friendly, our teenagers got along fabulously and Allan, the tour guide, did a great job of organizing everything and had an extensive knowledge of Costa Rica's wildlife and culture. Every day was a highlight and the abundance of scenery and animal sightings was hard to beat: wild tapirs, toucans, pumas, crocodiles, an abundance of exotic birds, monkeys, whales, dolphins. It is not for nothing that Costa Rica accounts for 5% of the world's biodiversity. The hotels were also fabulously selected and the transportation by minibus was comfortable and ideal. Costa Rica attaches great importance to environmental protection and sustainability and you can feel it. A fabulous trip through a great country full of natural beauty and friendly people!!!Show more

Costa Rica has a tropical climate with high temperature humidity and rainfall. The average temperature is 21°C in the highlands and variable in the lowlands. The rainy season is from May to November and the summer from December to April, but it does still tend to rain, usually in short bursts. Bear in mind that Costa Rica has 12 microclimates and weather can vary significantly in one day. So in general there is no big difference what month to choose for travelling.

For this departure we have already booked a family with children under the same age as yours and one is younger. If you join the tour the group will be almost full and I think there is a chance that you will not have small children. From the other side I can check with our product team if you can join any adult's tour with 15 years old son.
