Dean· October 29th, 2025The 12 Days Icons of Turkey with Gallipoli and Troy, was a fantastic adventure. It was a good mix of ancient civilisations, museums, horse riding, micro lighting, mosques, boat trips on the Bosphorus and of course the chimneys of Cappadocia. The food in Turkey was very good and ample in quantity. A big shout out to our guide Vulcan who was very knowledgeable, and did change the itinery where applicable, and all the people on the tour with us. It was great fun meeting everyone.Show moreTrip date: October 2025
Richard· October 26th, 2025After extensive research on many available Turkey tours on TourRadar, I finally decided to go with this 12-day tour operated by Guide of Ephesus. Before I booked the tour, I asked many detail questions about the tour and they always replied with clear and honest answers very promptly. I like the fact that they assigned one tour guide to cover the same group of people for the entire tour instead of having many different local guides and mixing groups of people at every location. Our group had only 5 people and traveled in a very comfortable van. Our guide Volkan Akalin was fantastic because he is very knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, patient, considerate and speaks fluent English. Most hotels were comfortable and conveniently located near city centers or tourist attractions. Most of the lunches included were excellent, some even allowed two choices of meat such as lamb chops and steaks. This tour was entirely on the ground and there was no domestic flight. Most days had at least 3 or 4 hours of driving, but we usually had rest room stops every 2 hours or less at gas stations. I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and modern the restrooms in most gas stations are, actually better than most in the USA. In Cappadocia the price of hot air ballon ride suddenly went up to 500 Euros due to pend up demand after raining in 4 previous days. So, I asked for the cheaper paragliding which was 150 Euros. But Volkan suggested we do microlight flying at the same price instead. We accepted his suggestion and had an amazing time watching the beautiful scenery of Cappadocia from above. The flight covered more and better areas than hot air ballon or paragliding. The tour covered all the stops listed on the itinerary and we never felt rushed as in other tour groups that had 20 or more people. I extended two extra nights of hotels at the end of the tour through Guide of Ephesus. Not only were they able to get a price better than I could book myself, but also they still provided airport transfer for free. Overall, this tour had a well-planned itinerary, excellent guide, good hotels and food, easy airport transfer and a very responsive support team. Me and my wife had a wonderful trip and many thanks to the Guide of Ephesus.Show moreTrip date: October 2025

Traveler•Written August 2025For Medium intensity in this package does it implies that we need to hike or need to do physically challenging walk? We are 56 and 60 yrs old couple :)
Guide of EphesusOperator•Written August 2025Our tours don't have challenging walks. The tour difficulty is mostly easy and some moderate amount of walks. We had 80-85 years old guests and they never complained about walking, so it's not hard for 55-60 years old couple which is still young ages.
