Day 2
Petra
Grab breakfast at your hotel before heading out for pickup. The drive to Petra takes you through scenic desert landscape, and you'll arrive mid-morning ready to explore. A guided tour walks you through this ancient city carved directly into rose-colored cliffs, which is quite something to see in person. After lunch at a local restaurant in the area, you'll check into your hotel in Petra and have the evening free to rest up or wander around town on your own.

Wadi Rum
After breakfast at your hotel, you're picked up and driven out to Wadi Rum. From there, a local Bedouin driver takes you on a jeep tour through the desert landscape, and then the rest of your day opens up for exploring at your own pace. You'll spend the night camping in Wadi Rum, so pack layers since desert temperatures can drop significantly once the sun sets. It's a chance to experience the landscape differently than the fast-paced tour portions.

Wadi Rum to Eilat
Start with breakfast and use your morning however you'd like, with an on-site attraction available if you want to do something structured. Around 4:00 PM, you're picked up for the drive to the Arava border crossing between Jordan and Israel. Your tour representative meets you at the border to handle the transfer, then drives you to your hotel in Eilat. You'll arrive in the early evening, giving you time to settle in and grab dinner.

Everything was fantastic and the tour exceeded our expectations. It was very well organized and the food and accommodation were excellent. Petra, Jerash and Wadi Rum were amazing and we had a reasonable amount of time at each to enjoy it to the full. Rania, our guide in Jordan, was superb. She was knowledgeable, friendly and very efficient and nothing was too much trouble for her. She contributed so much to making the trip enjoyable and bringing all the group together so that after only 3 days we felt like old friends. A really great experience.

  Border fees are 65$ per person for both borders, and a visa is 75$ per person, or you can issue the visa in the embassy in advance in this case it will cost 60$, visa on the border same day cost 75$.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before January 19th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after January 19th, 2026, a minimum payment of 50% is required to confirm your booking with Booking Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Booking Tours will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
