- Kirstin· October 1st, 2025WOW, we got lucky with our Tour Leader (Alessio) and driver (Mr Peno) - so well organised, so informative, moments of awe, laughter and just a wonderfully led week. We were apprehensive of doing a tour like this, and inevitably you are going to get people who p!ss you off, and we had some classics, which Alessio managed so well and was so patient with (I wonder why some people do a tour if they are just going to whine and complain about the exact things they signed up for)? But we also had some wonderful people and are still in touch with them n2 weeks later with plans to meet when we all get back home to Australia. Thank you Alessio, you made our week and we had the best time!!!Show more

Just enough time to explore and eat, we fitted in a lot It's a medium/fast-paced tour with lots of walking. August was very hot. It suits single travellers too. A great tour. Not perfect but no tour ever is. I highly recommend Soleto Travel for their attention to detail and quick responses to my needs.Show more
- Vicki· August 16th, 2025Our guide Placibo from Palermo was most unsatisfactory. Totally unsuited to his role, he was arrogant, walked fast, talked fast and treated the group as school children. We were often left in the hot sun to listen when there was shade elsewhere. He was unpopular with the group as a whole, & it was a relief when Rita replaced him in Catania! The bus driver was good but th bus was old, many seatbelts non functioning & the windows unwashed. Apart from that I enjoyed my tour.Show more
