Itinerary
- Day 1
Tbilisi
Start your Tbilisi adventure at the Holy Trinity Cathedral, then walk through the old city streets toward Sioni Cathedral. The Peace Bridge connects you to the next section, where you'll take a cable car up to Narikala Fortress and see the city spread out below. After that, check out the 18th-century Tbilisi Mosque and spend time in the sulfur bathhouses, which are quite the experience. Wrap up the day at Metekhi Square browsing cafes and shops before heading to your hotel for the night.

- Day 2
Tbilisi to Gudauri
Head north to see some of Georgia's oldest sites. You'll visit Jvari Monastery and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral in Mtskheta, both UNESCO sites that go back centuries. From there, continue to Ananuri Fortress, which dates to the 16th and 17th centuries and has an interesting history tied to local nobility. Later you'll reach the Gudauri ski resort area, grab dinner, and settle in for the night.

- Day 3
Gudauri to Stepantsminda to Tbilisi
This morning involves high-altitude mountain travel through the Cross Pass at 2,395 meters, where you'll stop for mineral water tastings and take in views of snowy peaks and waterfalls. Once you reach Stepantsminda, switch to 4x4 vehicles and drive up Gergeti Mountain to see the small Gergeti Trinity Church. Weather permitting, you might spot the Kazbegi glacier. Return to Stepantsminda, drop off your vehicle, then head back to Tbilisi for an overnight stay.

Tbilisi to Akhaltsikhe
Travel south to the Kartli region for a mix of history and nature. In Gori, tour the Stalin birthplace and museum. Then move on to Uplistsikhe, an archaeological site carved into rock with layers spanning from ancient times through the Middle Ages. Stop in Borjomi to walk the Central Park and try the famous mineral water. By evening, arrive in Akhaltsikhe for your overnight stay.

Akhaltsikhe to Vardzia
Start with a guided tour of Rabati Fortress, which contains several structures from different periods including a 14th-century castle, a medieval church, and an 18th-century palace. Later, head to Vardzia, a remarkable cave monastery carved into the mountainside back in the 12th century. The complex served both defensive and religious purposes. Stay overnight in either Akhaltsikhe or Vardzia depending on what's available.

- Day 6
Vardzia to Gyumri
Head toward the Georgia-Armenia border with a photo stop at Khertvisi Fortress. Cross the border at Bavra, where you'll meet your Armenian guide and get into a different vehicle. Continue to Gyumri, Armenia's second-largest city, and take a quick tour through both the historic and modern sections. Check in for the night in Gyumri.

Gyumri to Yerevan
Explore Gyumri's historical center, also called Alexandropol, walking past 19th-century houses and visiting a museum in one of them. After leaving the city, drive to Zvartnots Cathedral. Then continue to Yerevan to see the Matenadaran Manuscript Museum, which houses an incredible collection of ancient texts. Spend the night in Yerevan.

Yerevan
Spend the day in and around Yerevan exploring cultural sites. Visit the History Museum at Republic Square to learn about Armenian history. Head to Geghard Monastery, built in the mid-13th century. Walk along the scenic canyon with its beautiful 9th-century basalt bridge over the Azat River to reach the Pagan Temple of Garni from the 1st century AD. Return to Yerevan for an overnight stay.

Yerevan to Khor Virap to Areni to Noravank
Start at Khor Virap Monastery, known for its connection to Gregory the Illuminator and famous for views of Mount Ararat from the grounds. Continue to the Wine Village of Areni to tour a local winery and taste Armenian wines. Then visit Noravank Monastery in a scenic gorge, notable for its unique depiction of God the Father. Return to Yerevan for the night.

Dilijan to Lake Sevan to Sanahin to Haghpat to Tbilisi
After breakfast, drive to Lake Sevan at 2,000 meters elevation. Head to Dilijan to walk Sharamberyan Street and see the small workshops and local museum. Tour two traditional wooden houses with carved balconies that show Dilijan's architectural style. Visit Sanahin Monastery from the 10th-13th centuries, then Haghpat Monastery with its Holy Cross Church built in 911. Cross back into Georgia at Sadakhlo at 18:00 to meet your Georgian team. Transfer to Tbilisi for a relaxing evening.
