Venice to Chioggia and Padua
The ship cruises through Venice's bay toward Chioggia, then you'll head out on a guided tour of Padua, which is one of Italy's most important artistic centers. After returning to Venice, the rest of the evening is yours to do as you like.

Venice, Venetian Lagoon Islands, Christmas Eve
This morning you can either explore Venice on your own or join an optional private boat trip to Burano and Murano in the lagoon. By afternoon, there's a guided tour of the Doge's Palace and St. Mark's Square. Tonight brings a special Christmas Eve dinner followed by Midnight Mass in Venice.
