You'll meet up in Strasbourg at 6:00 p.m. and board your river ship. After settling into your cabin, head to the dining room for dinner on board. The rest of the evening is yours to relax and get comfortable before the journey begins.

Wine Route and Colmar Christmas Markets
This morning you'll start exploring the Alsatian Wine Route with a local guide, stopping at Christmas-decorated villages throughout the region. You'll tour a wine cellar and taste several local Alsatian wines. Later in the afternoon, the coach takes you to Colmar where you can walk through the old town and check out the Christmas Markets on beautifully lit streets. By evening you're back in Strasbourg for the night on board.

Strasbourg and Christmas Markets
Start the day with a panoramic tour of Strasbourg covering the port, Vauban's fortifications, the European district, Neustadt, the medieval old town, and various religious buildings. After lunch on board, you have free time to wander through Petite France with its 16th-17th century half-timbered houses right along the water. You can see the cathedral's iconic 142-meter pink sandstone spire and the ornate Kammerzell House nearby. Later, spend time at the Christkindelsmärik Christmas markets with over 300 wooden chalets. As evening comes, take a walk around Cathedral Square, Place Kléber, and other squares to see the Christmas lights before returning for dinner on board.
