  1. Day 1

    Embarkation

    You'll board the ship at 6:00 p.m. and get settled into your cabin. After that, there's a welcome cocktail where you can meet the crew and get to know other passengers. Dinner follows with Austrian specialties on the menu, so you'll get a taste of the region right from the start.

  2. Day 2

    Vienna to Budapest

    A guided tour takes you through Vienna this morning, and you'll stop at the Christmas market set up in front of city hall. There's time to walk around and browse the stalls. Later in the afternoon, you'll head back and board the ship, then cruise towards Budapest as the day winds down.

  3. Day 3

    Budapest

    You'll have a guided tour of Budapest that covers how the Danube River splits the city into Buda on one side and Pest on the other. After that tour wraps up, the afternoon is free for you to do your own thing around the city. In the evening, you'll sail towards Bratislava while enjoying entertainment onboard.

  4. Day 4

    Bratislava

    The ship cruises through the morning, and you'll arrive in Bratislava in the afternoon. A guided tour shows you around Slovakia's capital and includes a visit to its Christmas market. There's a gala dinner onboard in the evening, and then the ship sets sail back toward Vienna.

    The Cruise could only be described as Very Poor. 1. The advertised duration was, incorrectly advertised by stating the 1st day as being part of the cruise duration as we were only allowed to board at 06:00pm and that was advertised as day 1. 2. The meals were very poor. On one day, the majority of passengers sent their plates back full of the severed food. 3. Tea, Coffee, Water and even Ice was charged. If you required alcohol (wine) during lunch/dinner, expected to purchase a bottle. 4. There were no coffee/tea facilities available, outside mealtimes, unless you wanted to purchase from the bar. 5. The rooms were very small. 6. Internet facilities were unavailable most of the time or if it was available, very slow. 7. The TV facilities were unavailable. The staff on board were very good, very friendly, efficient and always available to assist. We are currently evaluating our river cruise options for 2024, we will not purchase cruises from the cruise company.

    do you have to embark and disembark at the same place. we would be interested in going from Budapest Hungary, to Vienna. one way can this be done?
