The train ride instead of the flight should always be included. Only criticism is that the hotel room in Luang Prabang was not so great. Please keep in mind that if no other travelers sign up for the same departure date, you will join different groups of travelers in each city, and on some days, you may have a private tour with your guide if there are no other participants with the same itinerary.
