Starting in Luang Prabang, I loved the mix of history and culture, especially the guided visits to Wat Xieng Thong and Mount Phousi for the sunset views. Every moment in this charming city felt magical. The journey to Vang Vieng was an adventure itself, with winding roads through lush green landscapes. Once in Vang Vieng, we had just the right mix of outdoor activities and leisure time. Tubing along the Nam Song River was a blast, and the countryside bike ride took us to hidden gems we wouldn’t have found on our own. Vientiane was a delightful way to end the trip. The mix of French colonial architecture and traditional Lao temples made it so unique. My favorite stop was Buddha Park—it’s unlike anything I’ve seen before!
