The chalet itself is great and perfectly set up for relaxing after a long day on the slopes, especially with the hot tub and sauna. What really made the trip special, were the amazing hosts Grace and Thea. They went above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome, from the delicious meals to their friendly, laid-back vibe they created such a fun atmosphere. - SSam· January 28th, 2024My Wife and I joined the Intro to Off Piste week for the second time and had another 5 star holiday with the Hofnar Team. Daniel hosted us again. He remarkably keeps the energy up from the beginning of the week right to the end with a night out in the Cavern. Epic effort! The food was great, the banter was brutal, the beers were flowing and the crowd were fantastic. We really enjoy challenging ourselves with the off piste week, Alain and Guillome do a great job of getting us skiing areas we'd never normally access, way off the pistes and getting that adrenaline rush flowing. Not really what I expected but in a good way, it wasn’t ran like your average chalet holiday, within 30 minuets it felt like I was on a holiday with a group friends I just hadn’t met yet. Our host Daniel seemed to be holiday with us which just added this reflaxed atmosphere and made everyone feel at ease. Couldn’t recommend HOFNAR enough and if you like me and struggle to get commitment out your friends to go skiing...... look no further. Thanks again HOFNARShow more
Trip date: February 2018 - JBJames· February 12th, 2018h.o.f.n.a.r does exactly what is says on the tin - i.e. you go along to the week alone but come back with a load of new friends after having had a fantastic week in the snow. Our week can only be described as 'BIG'! Daniel is an excellent host (although im not sure how he finds the non-stop energy as I'm spent after a week and I've not done much cooking and cleaning!) and will make you feel at home with delicious food and banter. Highly recommend the off-piste week but do ensure you are already at a high standard of skiing/boarding otherwise you wont keep up. Unfortunately they are not included in the price of the trip. Expect to pay 327euros for the all area pass. Expect about 150euros for kit hire - it varies slightly depending what grade equipment you choose.
