- Day 1
Johannesburg
Meet at your hotel around 11:30 a.m. and head out for lunch before visiting the Apartheid Museum, which covers South Africa's 20th-century history and the apartheid era. After that, you'll take a panoramic tour through Johannesburg to see the city's financial district, architecture, and local energy. Check into your five-star hotel and relax before dinner.

Johannesburg to Kasane
Fly from Johannesburg to Kasane, Botswana, then transfer by small private boat to your CroisiEurope lodge. During the boat ride through flooded flatlands, watch for birds, hippos, and crocodiles. Meet the crew once you arrive, settle into your room, and have dinner served in the lodge.

Chobe National Park
Spend the full day on safari through Chobe National Park in open Jeeps, where you'll see over a quarter of Africa's elephant population. Lunch happens at a floating restaurant on the river with views of the surrounding landscape. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise on the Chobe River heading toward Sedudu Island and its marshes before returning to the lodge for dinner.

Impalila Island
Head to Impalila Island, Namibia to visit local villages and learn about traditional houses, culture, and customs. Back at the lodge for lunch, then your afternoon is free to relax by the pool or take an optional small boat trip on the Zambezi River. Before dinner, your guide leads a storytelling session about island traditions.

Kasane to Kariba
Start with one more water safari in the Chobe National Park area and have lunch by the water. Transfer to Kasane airport and fly by private plane to Kariba, where you'll see Lake Kariba and surrounding wilderness from the air. Board the ship, get settled in your cabin, and enjoy dinner while the ship begins sailing across the lake.

Lake Kariba
Wake early to sail at sunrise through Lake Kariba's landscape of drowned trees. Explore the Gache Gache River by small private boat, winding through inlets and looking for wildlife. Lunch is served on board, then the ship sails toward Changa. Later, take a sunset boat cruise to watch the light change over the water before dinner and an overnight on the ship.

Matusadona National Park
This morning involves a safari around Matusadona National Park, where elephants, hippos, crocodiles, buffalo, and birds live, plus the possibility of seeing big cats. You'll learn about Operation Noah, the major animal rescue effort during Lake Kariba's creation. Return to the ship for lunch, then join a discussion about the lake's history, wildlife, and ecosystem before dinner.

Kariba to Victoria Falls
Sail at sunrise back to Kariba and disembark to see the massive Kariba Dam, completed in 1955 and now providing 70 percent of Zimbabwe's electricity. Learn about the lake's creation and the legend of NyamiNyami, the river god. Fly by private plane to Victoria Falls, then have an exceptional lunch cruise on the Zambezi River upstream from the falls. Spend the afternoon walking through the falls area to see the widest waterfall in the world, known as 'the smoke that thunders.' Check into your four-star hotel for dinner.
