Customer Reviews

We enjoyed our tour very much. We had two excellent guides, Hara (land) and David (cruise). Both knew their stuff, knew how to maneuver to use time to best advantage, knew what to see and what to skip. Highest praise for both! There is too much to see on land to be able to see it all or to linger. But, working within these limitations, this is a great trip. Some have complained that the bus trips are too long. I disagree. Everything was carefully planned, so that a longer day was followed by an easy day. Even the longest day was broken up by things to visit. And if you pay attention while you travel, there is much to see and enjoy just from the windows. The cruise ship is nice enough but definitely not 5-star luxury--but you are not paying for that either. It is clean, well-maintained, neat. Because it is not a huge ship, we could visit some islands that fancy big ship can't. They were really the best because the tourist crowds at Santorini and Mykonos were unbelievable, even in mid-late September. Insight arranged for excellent local guides everywhere.
