Itinerary
- Day 1
Rome
You'll arrive in Rome and get settled in for the evening. This is your chance to meet your Travel Director and the other people on this trip over dinner at a local Roman restaurant, where they'll serve traditional dishes from the Lazio region.

 - Day 2
Umbria
Start the morning at Vatican City with the Basilica of St. Peter, then head to Ancient Rome to see the Colosseum with a local expert guiding you through both sites. After that, you'll travel north to the village of Baschi in Umbria where Giovanni takes you truffle hunting. Chef Lorenzo will do a pasta demonstration for you, and then you'll have lunch with Orvieto Classico wine. The day wraps up in Perugia where you can walk through underground streets and medieval squares, including Corso Vannucci, the Priors' Palace, the cathedral, and the Great Fountain.

Perugia
You'll visit an artisanal loom weaving workshop to meet Marta and her team, learning how this traditional craft has been kept alive through generations. In the afternoon, you have free time to either wander around Perugia on your own or take an optional trip to Cortona if that interests you. For dinner, you'll choose from several hand-picked local restaurants as part of a Dine Around experience.

Assisi
The morning takes you to Assisi, a medieval town perched high in the mountains and surrounded by fortress walls. You'll first visit the Church of St. Mary of the Angels down in the valley, then head up Mount Subasio to explore the 13th-century Basilica of St. Francis with a local expert who'll explain Giotto's frescoes and how they influenced Renaissance artists.

San Gimignano
You'll follow the shores of Lake Trasimeno on your way to Siena, where you'll stand in the shell-shaped Campo. After seeing the Town Hall, you can either visit the medieval Cathedral or try panforte, a traditional Tuscan dessert. Then it's on to San Gimignano, famous for its medieval towers, winding streets, and hidden squares. Stop by Sergio Dondoli's artisan ice cream parlour on Piazza della Cisterna to try his award-winning gelato. You'll stay at a villa near San Gimignano for the next three nights.

This is a relaxed day where you can spend time at the villa in the Tuscan countryside, or if you want to get out, there's an optional trip available to nearby Pisa and Lucca.

 - Day 7
Florence
You'll head to Florence in the morning for a walking tour that covers the marble cathedral topped with Brunelleschi's dome, the baptistery with the Gates of Paradise, and Giotto's bell tower. From there, you'll walk to Piazza della Signoria to see Renaissance sculptures and have free time to shop around the city. In the evening, you'll toast the trip with a farm-to-table dinner at a local restaurant serving homemade pastas, locally grown ingredients, and traditional Chianti wine from nearby farms.

Rome
You'll leave San Gimignano and travel south through rolling hills. The first stop is Bagno Vignoni, a medieval spa town known for its mineral-rich thermal baths. From there, you'll continue to Pienza, a Renaissance town designed as an ideal city and famous for its pecorino cheese. After exploring both towns, you'll head back to Rome.
