This trip was just me and my friend. Two girls. We felt very safe with the tour guide and he made everything easy for us and explained everything perfectly. No issues at all for the duration and was pleased with my trip to Brazil.

I really enjoyed the tour but had some reservations, the Guacho ranch tour was way too expensive, the transfors from airport was way too expensive Suggestive tips to bus driver and local guides were stated, but I did not see suggestive tips to tour director. Excellent hotesl and very good guides. The price of the Escape tour was very good.

Jorge Avila was our wonderful proud Costa Rican guide. He was very warm, enjoyable, knowledgeable, and welcoming. He had insightful input to questions and potential issues likely of common concern. He was always open to questions and graciously repeated information. Each day had a thoughtful mix of educational, informal and personal info along with quiet moments that made the day quite enjoyable. Our tour had a happy mix of the cloud forest, jungle, and volcanic terrain and a dash of tourist/souvenir exposure that was just right for my expectations of flora and fauna exposure. Lodging was above my expectations and meals delicious with generous variety. Glad I went!

    Asked on May 15th, 2025

Is it possible to book an extra night before the tour at the same hotel? Is it possible to book transfers with you from and to the airport? Finally I understand that this tour is accompanied by a guide throughout, is that correct?

There would be an additional $1,006 CAD single supplement fee for solo travelers. At this time the pre night is pricing at $239 CAD. We are able to offer roundtrip transfers for $14 CAD per direction ($28 CAD round trip). For this tour there are select days where you will be accompanied by a guide and some days where you are free to explore on your own.

How can the extra night and transfers be booked? Is the option present at booking?

    • L

      Lynda

      TravelerWritten May 2025

Are these options presented to me at booking? Or how do I add extra nights and transportation to my tour? Also with an extra night pre-tour, am I garanteed to have those extra nights at the same hotel as where the tour starts?

The extra nights and transfers can be added from our end once you are booked and deposited. As for the pre night accommodations, they are typically booked at the same hotel as where the tour starts but we cannot guarantee as it is subject to change.
