Itinerary
- Day 1
Caceres to Cordoba
You'll leave early at 7:30 AM heading toward Caceres, a UNESCO World Heritage site with Roman, Islamic, Gothic and Renaissance architecture layered throughout. Walking through Plaza Mayor gives you a sense of the layout before you explore the Medieval Quarter and its old town. After that, the route continues to Cordoba, the former capital of the Caliphate, so you'll have travel time to settle in.

Cordoba to Seville
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll have a guided tour of Cordoba's Mosque, which is really the centerpiece here. From there, the narrow winding streets of the Jewish Quarter are yours to walk through at your own pace. In the afternoon, you'll travel about 2 hours south to reach Seville, giving you time to get oriented before dinner.

Seville
Following breakfast at the hotel, a morning panoramic city tour takes you through Seville's main sites. You'll see the Cathedral (second largest in the Catholic world after St. Peter's), the Santa Cruz quarter with its Don Juan connections, Maria Luisa Park and Plaza de Espana. The afternoon is open, so you can wander back to places that caught your eye or just rest at a café.

Seville to Costa del Sol
You'll drive south through typical villages after breakfast, heading to Ronda, a Celtic-origin town with dramatic valley and mountain views. Free time lets you wander the old town and take in the scenery. Later in the afternoon, the route continues to Costa del Sol, one of Europe's major international beach destinations.

- Day 5
Costa del Sol
This day is completely yours to spend at Costa del Sol's beaches and the surrounding areas. Your breakfast, dinner and hotel accommodation are covered, so you can focus on swimming, relaxing on the sand or trying the beach bars.

Costa del Sol to Fez
After breakfast, you'll head along the scenic Costa del Sol route passing through places like Marbella and Puerto Banus before reaching Tarifa or Algeciras. From there, you'll board a ferry for the short crossing of the Strait of Gibraltar into Africa and arrive in Tangier. After clearing customs, the coach takes you through Meknes briefly, then on to Fez for the night.

- Day 7
Fez
A guided tour of Fez shows you Morocco's oldest and most monumental Imperial City. You'll visit the 7 gates of the Royal Palace, the Jewish Quarter, the Bab Bou Jeloud gate and walk through the Medina, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The afternoon gives you free time to explore on your own or rest before dinner.

- Day 8
Fez to Marrakech
You'll leave early after breakfast, driving to Rabat, Morocco's diplomatic and administrative capital. The day covers the Royal Palace exterior, Mohamed V's Mausoleum and Hassan Tower. Then it's on to Casablanca to see United Nations Square, Boulevard de la Corniche and Hassan II Mosque exterior. There's a free lunch somewhere en route, and later you'll continue to Marrakech.

- Day 9
Marrakech to Casablanca
After breakfast, you'll explore Marrakech starting with the Menara Gardens, where a pavilion sits among countless olive trees. The Koutoubia minaret (sister to Seville's Giralda) comes next, then the old medina with Bahia Palace and Jemaa el Fna square. You'll see souks with wood, ceramic, leather and spice artisans working. Lunch at a hotel happens before you depart for Casablanca.

Casablanca to Costa del Sol
After breakfast at the hotel, you'll head to Tangier and go to the pier to board the ferry back across the Strait of Gibraltar to Spain. The drive then continues toward Costa del Sol.

Costa del Sol
Another full day at your disposal for Costa del Sol's beaches and surrounding areas. Breakfast, dinner and your hotel room are all included, so you can spend as much time in the water or on the sand as you like.

Costa del Sol to Granada
You'll travel to Granada after breakfast and see the Alhambra complex and Generalife Gardens, the last stronghold of the Moorish Kingdoms until 1492. These sites inspired Washington Irving's 'Tales of the Alhambra' and many other writers. The afternoon is open for you to explore Granada on your own.

Granada to Madrid
After breakfast, you'll drive north to Toledo, an impressive Imperial city surrounded by the Tagus River. This UNESCO World Heritage City is where Christians, Moors and Jews lived together and serves as a National Monument. A short guided tour takes you through the narrow historical streets, and then you continue to Madrid where your tour ends.
