Itinerary
- Day 1
Madrid to Porto
You'll leave Madrid and drive to Salamanca, where you'll have free time to walk around this UNESCO World Heritage university city and see what interests you. After that, it's on to Porto, Portugal for the night. The drive gives you a chance to see the countryside between the two cities.

Landmarks/POIs Salamanca - Day 2
Porto
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll join a guided tour through Porto covering the Cathedral, Stock Exchange building, and Santa Clara church. Then you'll take a cruise along the River Douro on BlueBoats to see the city from the water. Later, you'll visit a Port Wine Cellar for tasting. The rest of the day is yours to do whatever you want around the city.

Coimbra to Fátima
Following breakfast, you'll drive to Coimbra and have time to check out one of Europe's oldest universities and experience the birthplace of Fado music on your own. Then you'll head to Fátima, a major pilgrimage site, where you can visit the Basilica and Cova da Iria where the Virgin Mary appeared. You can explore the Chapel of the Apparitions and see the tombs of the three young shepherds. By evening, there's a chance to join the candlelight procession if you're interested.

Nazaré - Alcobaça to Lisbon
You'll have breakfast at the hotel, then visit Batalha Monastery, which shows off Gothic and Manueline architecture and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. From there, you'll drive to the fishing town of Nazaré with free time to look around. After that, you'll continue to Alcobaca to see its UNESCO-listed Gothic church and 12th-century Cistercian monastery before finishing the day in Lisbon.

Lisbon
Breakfast at the hotel comes first, then you'll join a guided city tour of Lisbon that covers the main squares and avenues, Belem Tower, the exterior of Jerónimos Monastery, and the Monument to the Discoveries. In the afternoon, you have free time to explore neighborhoods like Alfama, or you can join an optional excursion to the World Heritage Sites of Sintra and Cascais if you want something more structured.

After breakfast, you'll head toward Mérida, the capital of Extremadura, which has well-preserved Roman ruins like the theater, amphitheater, and Roman bridge. You'll get free time to wander through these historical sites before driving back to Madrid to wrap up your trip.
