- NBNaomi· December 13th, 2025I had a good experience on this tour. My driver, Himmat, was very conscientious. I enjoyed the variety of places visited and the itinerary is well paced, with the rural stops dispersed between busy cities. Most of the local guides were excellent, apart from in Udaipur who rushed round everything way too quickly so that I paid to go to the Palace a second time on my own. I recommend visiting the Tibetan market in Udaipur, which I found myself. The hotels were all good, and mostly had good food. The cook at Harnawa Haveli in Jaipur was especially good. The food at the two palace hotels was disappointing, seemingly attempting to cater to Western tastes and I wanted to eat authentic Indian food. Most of the lunch stops on long drives were also at very touristy hotels with underwhelming food, and it seemed to be company policy to go to tourist traps rather than local places. There was also a lot of being taken to shops and craftspeople which though not a huge surprise was not mentioned in the itinerary.Show moreTrip date: November 2025

- John· December 7th, 2025This was a 5* Budget Tour. We arrived in Delhi after a flight change at 3am and our Driver Amar Meena was patiently waiting for us. After a short 4 hrs sleep we began the tour. Amar was an amazing driver and treated my wife like she was his mother. We enjoyed all the the castle/fort hotels, all were quite unique. Amar was able to answer all our numerous questions, either directly or with google, stopped anytime we asked. All of the city guides were exceptional especially in Jaipur and Jodhpur. The castle/fort hotels Rohet Garh/Chanwa Fort,Luni and Sardargarh Fort/Deogarh Mahal were really unique. We could have skipped Pushkar, but it did breakup a long day of driving. The Taj Mahal was definitely awe inspiring. Downsides, 1. many 4-6 hrs car rides (but Rajasthan is very big).2. Air pollutions is absurd.Show more

We booked our tour via Swastik and enjoyed the diverse program. Although some of the hotels were on the luxurious side for us, and the restaurant stops a bit too touristy, the program gave us a really good impression of northern India while still allowing us to relax. We would definitely recommend this tour. The main reason for us to write this review is to mention our driver Yogesh. During the long hours in the car he was very open to us about the Indian culture, habits and differences with our culture. He felt like our personal guide during the trip as he organized everything really well, was a relaxed driver and made sure that we were comfortable during the trip - even when we had Delhi belly. - Alice· November 26th, 2025We give 5 stars for our well put-together tour; Taj Mahal & Wildlife with Royal Stay. All our guides at each place were courteous and knowledgeable. My husband is 80 yrs old so the guides were able to modify as needed. We can't say enough about our assigned driver Pradeep, treating us like his family. Plus he found us reliable ATMs, shared unique tastes like samosas and fresh water chestnuts and finding rest stops when needed. Though some distances were far and car travel long, it was all worth it. The driver was very pleasant and attended to my 94 year old mother very well as she wasn't feeling herself for some of the trip. All in all it was educational, visually stimulating and the Zipline in Jodhpur is a must do! - DCdiane· November 18th, 2025It was a very busy and interesting tour,, covered a lot of ground. Our driver Ranveer was great, nice company for the duration of the tour. The guides were generally very good, knew their stuff, their English was good. Hotels were fine. We enjoyed Jodhpur and Pushkar very much, there were generally fewer tourists. You cover a lot of ground on this tour, which is great because you see lots of very different towns and cities, many great sights you wouldn't. want to miss, but of course this does mean a lot of travelling. The admin before arriving was not fantastic, sometimes slow to get a reply, a mistake was made in picking us up in Delhi, but that was corrected (and blamed on the driver and me, but it was an error by the office who couldn't simply say "sorry").
