- AFArturo· October 19th, 2025Our 11 day trip to India was a wonderful experience overall, especially thanks to our private driver, Amar Miina, who was truly outstanding. He was kind, professional, and always helpful throughout the tour. His car was comfortable and clean, he welcomed us warmly with flowers and thoughtful gifts, and he made sure we always had fresh water during our journey. In the chaos of Indian traffic, we always felt completely safe with him — he was the best part of the whole experience. In each city, we also had a different local guide, and all of them were excellent. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to answer all our questions. They also took incredible photos of us, which made the trip even more memorable. Unfortunately, our experience with Swastik and particularly Mr. Karni was very disappointing. They advertise 24/7 assistance, but in reality, communication was extremely poor: messages were often answered after several days, and some of my questions before the trip were never answered at all. Both before and during the tour, the company provided almost no information or support, which left us feeling quite abandoned. We also had some unpleasant moments regarding activities that were supposed to be included in the package — specifically, the train safari in Deogarh and the boat tour in Udaipur. Amar informed us that we needed to pay extra for these, even though they were clearly listed as included. I tried to contact Mr. Karni for clarification, but he ignored my messages and only communicated with Amar instead. In the end, we didn’t have to pay extra, but the situation was handled very poorly and left a bad impression. Another misleading detail was the Ranthambore Safari. The itinerary mentioned a “Jeep Safari,” but what was actually included was a large open bus with around 20–22 people. In conclusion, our driver and local guides were exceptional, but the company’s organization, communication, and transparency were seriously lacking.Show moreTrip date: October 2025
