Itinerary
- Day 1
Zagreb
You'll arrive in Zagreb and head to your hotel, checking in around 3:00pm. From there, wander through the old city on its cobblestone streets and check out the medieval buildings. You can try local food and drink, visit some museums if you're interested, or just explore on your own. Later, there's a welcome meeting with the group, and you'll have the option to go out for dinner with your CEO and fellow travelers.

Plitvice Lakes National Park
A private vehicle takes you to Plitvice Lakes National Park where you'll do a guided walk along the boardwalks through this UNESCO site. You'll see the karst formations, pools, and waterfalls while learning about the wildlife and bird population in the area. That evening, dinner features peka, a traditional Dalmatian dish with vegetables, herbs, and meat cooked over hot coals.

Split
The drive takes you to Split and the Adriatic coast. Early in the evening, you'll walk around the Roman ruins of Diocletian's Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Split
Today's free in Split, so you can explore the seaside town however you like. Step through the Golden Gate into the old town inside the palace walls. You could sample Croatian food at the local market, head up to Marjan's peak for views, hike or bike the trails, or take an optional tour of an ancient cathedral if that interests you.

Split to Sarajevo
You'll cross into Bosnia and Herzegovina by private vehicle heading to Mostar. Walk through the ancient town and see the Stari Most, the Old Bridge that's become a symbol of the city's resilience. It was rebuilt after being destroyed during the Bosnian War, though the original Ottoman-style bridge dates back to the seventeenth century. After that, you'll continue on to Sarajevo for the evening.

Sarajevo
A local expert who lived through the siege will share what happened during the four-year Siege of Sarajevo. The day includes time at a local market and lunch at a restaurant where you'll experience the city's recovery and everyday life.

Sarajevo
Sarajevo's yours to explore today on your own schedule. Walk through the cobblestone streets of the old town and take in the architecture of the different places of worship there. You can visit the Latin Bridge, where Archduke Franz Ferdinand was assassinated, an event that sparked World War I. Spend time browsing the shops and markets throughout the historic area.
