Itinerary
- Day 1
Dubai
You'll arrive in Dubai and head to your hotel for check-in from mid-afternoon. This gives you time to settle in and grab something to eat before the evening. The rest of the day is open to rest up before your tour activities begin tomorrow.

Dubai
Your local guide walks you through the narrow lanes of historic Bastakiya Quarter, then you'll check out the vibrant souks including the spice souk and the famous gold souk with its 220 glittering shops. After lunch at Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding where you'll learn about local life, you head to the largest mall in the UAE and take the elevator up to the 124th floor observation deck of Burj Khalifa for views across the city and a presentation on Dubai's development. The evening is yours to explore on your own.

This day is completely open for you to explore Dubai at your own pace. Breakfast is included, and if you want to do something specific, optional excursions are available through MyGlobus. You can wander around neighborhoods, hit the beaches, shop, or just take it easy at your hotel.

Dubai to Delhi
You'll fly to Delhi this morning, arriving in India's capital. After you get settled and grab your bags, the rest of the day is yours to rest after traveling or wander around your area and get a feel for the city.

Delhi
Your orientation tour starts by viewing the Red Fort, India Gate, and the Presidential Palace. Then you'll see the Jama Masjid and Humayun's Tomb before taking a rickshaw through Chandni Chowk bazaar where the ancient alleyways sell silver, saris, spices and more. After lunch at a local restaurant, you have free time. Tonight your Tour Director hosts a welcome dinner with a cooking demonstration and talk on Indian cuisine from a local chef.

Delhi to Agra
You'll visit Qutub Minar, the world's tallest brick minaret from the 11th century. Next stop is Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, Delhi's largest Sikh gurudwara with white marble and a golden dome. After lunch, you drive to Agra and settle in for the evening.

Agra
You'll get up early to see the Taj Mahal at sunrise with a guide. This marble monument was built by Moghul Emperor Shah Jahan as a memorial to his wife, and you'll go inside the mausoleum to explore. Later in the day after some downtime, you visit Agra Fort, a UNESCO site made of red sandstone by Emperor Akbar, which holds the imperial city of the Moghul rulers and their palaces.

Agra to Sawai Madhopur
You stop at Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO site built by Emperor Akbar in the 16th century as the Mughal capital. It was abandoned after 10 years due to water shortages. After lunch in Bharatpur, you board a train to Sawai Madhopur, the gateway to Ranthambore National Park where you can spot Bengal tigers. You'll stay at the exclusive Ranthambore Kothi Resort.

Sawai Madhopur
You'll do morning and afternoon game drives in open-air safari vehicles through Ranthambore National Park, looking for Bengal tigers, leopards, sambar deer, sloth bears, marsh crocodiles and striped hyenas. Between drives, you have downtime at the resort to rest and refresh.

Sawai Madhopur to Jaipur
You travel to Jaipur, the historic Pink City named for its pink-painted buildings from 1876 when the city was painted to welcome the Prince of Wales. You'll see Jantar Mantar, a UNESCO site with 19 astronomical instruments from 1728 used for measuring time and dates. Then visit the City Palace Museum, once the royal residence, now showing paintings, carpets, weapons and costumes.

Jaipur
In the morning you see the legendary Amber Fort, known as the Sleeping Beauty of Rajasthan, built of white marble and red sandstone with ornate royal apartments including an alabaster Hall of Victory and a Chamber of Mirrors. Then you visit Ladli, a vocational program for orphaned children where you can interact with students and help them practice English. Tonight your small group is invited to a home-hosted dinner with an Indian noble family, followed by a sari-and-turban-tying demonstration.
