- Day 1
Rome
You'll arrive in Rome and get settled into your hotel. The afternoon is yours to do what you need after traveling, whether that means resting at the hotel or taking a walk through the old streets to get oriented. Later in the evening you'll meet your Travel Director and the other people on the trip for dinner.

- Day 2
Rome
This morning starts with a guided tour of the Vatican Museums with a local specialist leading the way. You'll get fast-track access so you skip the long lines, and you'll see the Sistine Chapel with its incredible ceiling painted with frescoes. After that you'll head across the Tiber to check out the Colosseum in Ancient Rome. The afternoon gives you time to wander around some of Rome's other landmarks like the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain at your own pace.

- Day 3
Rome to Venice
You're traveling north from Rome through the Tiber valley into Umbria, where the landscape turns green and golden. Along the way you'll pass through the hilltop towns of Orte and Orvieto before moving into Tuscany. From there you'll drive through the terraced olive groves and then cross the Apennine Mountains on your way to Venice.

- Day 4
Venice to Verona
A private launch takes you into the center of Venice so you can see the Bridge of Sighs, St. Mark's Square, St. Mark's Basilica, and the Doge's Palace. You'll also watch a traditional Venetian glassblowing demonstration to understand how artisans keep this craft alive, and there's time to look at and buy some glass pieces if you want. After Venice you'll head to Verona to explore the city connected with the Romeo and Juliet story.

- Day 5
Verona to Florence
The day begins at Pisa's Square of Miracles, a UNESCO site where you'll see the famous Leaning Tower and the monuments around it. From there you'll continue to Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance and where the Medici family held power. Tonight you'll have a Be My Guest dinner experience at a Tuscan estate surrounded by olive groves and vineyards.

- Day 6
Florence to Rome
A local specialist leads a guided tour through Florence's medieval and Renaissance history. You'll spend time at Piazza della Signoria to see the sculptures, walk through the Duomo with its colorful marble, check out the Baptistry, and cross the 700-year-old Ponte Vecchio with its line of jewelry shops. Later you'll travel through Umbria back to Rome for a farewell dinner where you'll raise a glass to the trip you've just had.
