- Armondo· May 6th, 2025I booked the 7 day Italian Holiday Trafalgar Tour for April 2025. I paid an extra $249 for the travel insurance in case of interruptions. Day one was supposed to be a tour of Rome, but the Pope’s funeral occurred and all sites/museums were closed. The following day we moved on to Venice. I filed a claim with Trafalgar Aon Affinity insurance for a 1/7 refund ($311) for that lost day. The claim was denied. Greedy management, don’t recommend Trafalgar.Show more

- MTMere· September 27th, 2024Although the tour was a great experience, it was full on (because I opted to do the optional additional experiences) but it was well organised and Paolo was an excellent tour director, nothing was ever too much trouble, from answering questions to the need to repeat the instructions/meeting times etc, several times to ensure everyone knew what was happening. I thoroughly enjoyed the 7-Day Italian Holiday Tour which exceeded my expectations. I now know which regions of Italy I would come back to spend more time based on the valuable information and experiences I gained on the tour. One of the highlights for me (there were a few) was the 'Be My Guest' dinner at a beautiful local family owned villa up in the Tuscany hills, it was an absolutely fabulous setting and Gioda was the perfect host (and cook)!! Trafalgar provides a great trip (this is my second trip with them) and our tour guide, Giuseppe, was tops. He provided so much valuable information, even while riding between cities. He was very knowledgeable and shared many interesting historic details of the countryside that we were passing through. In the end i lost complete amount of trip, They stated to get in touch with the travel insurance company, which they provided in their email. They were as big a joke as Trafalgar, rejected claim BEFORE i could get paperwork in they asked for.. Unbelievable experience. And as info, you wont see negative reviews, they delete who does so.
