- RKRobert· May 23rd, 2022Tour Radar never informed us of a change of our first hotel. It was just luck that we were able to join the tour. Unfortunately, there was no time in Amman. Too much time in Wadi Rum. There was no one from the tour company to help cross from Jordan to Israel, which was a disaster. The Eco lodge was far below par and not very interesting. Asked on June 20th, 2023Can you give me more information about the camping? Will we be under Canvas? Are the beds on the ground? Is it possible to have double beds? Will the guides be using a mic attached to earphones for the travelers? My husband is deaf so needs this equipment to be able to hear anything. When we are camping what are the toilet facilities like?

Accommodation in Wadi Rum is in Bedouin tents, bedding is provided, but in the colder months November-March you may want to consider bring a sleeping bag. Bathrooms in Wadi Rum are on a share basis. Showers at some hotels only have hot water at peak times (usually morning and evening). Outside of these times you may need to speak to reception to obtain hot water. Our tour leaders do not use a mic attached to earphones, as our tours are small groups (Max 12).
