The boat on the Ganges was extremely memorable as was the aatri festival at varanassi. The island jungle resort was very special and we were well looked after by Depak and his team. That place and them will stay long in hearts and minds. Asked on June 4th, 2024Will we be able to see the Swayambhunath Stupa while in Kathamandu? It's on my bucket list. If I to go on an early morning Everest flight (I know it is not followed), would you give me recommendations even though it is not on the tour?
Explore!Operator•Written June 2024We do not visit the Swayambhunath Temple (aka Monkey temple) within the itinerary as we only have one full day in Kathmandu and it is a fast-paced day where we visit Bodnath Stupa instead. There isn't really any other time in the itinerary for passengers to visit this, so it's likely you would need to skip Pashupatinath and Bodnath in the afternoon of Day 15 and arrange to visit it independently. Unfortunately we are unable to give any recommendations for the Everest flight. We choose not to fly within Nepal on any of our itineraries due to the high number of air accidents and Nepal being on the EU aviation blacklist.
