Your driver picks you up from the bus terminal and handles the drive to Paraty. Once there, your accommodation host will meet you and get you settled in. Paraty
Head to the hotel lobby this morning to pick up your voucher for a boat trip. You'll spend the day hopping between local islands and beaches by water. It's a good way to see the coastline and find some quieter spots away from the main town.

Paraty
Make sure to grab your voucher from the hotel lobby before your jeep tour starts. You'll drive through colonial Paraty with a guide who can point out the historic buildings and explain the town's past. The jeep gives you a different perspective than walking on your own.

Paraty to Ilha Grande
Your guide picks you up at the hotel and drives you to Angra dos Reis. From there, you'll board a 1-hour ferry to Ilha Grande, a rustic island that locals love. You'll arrive in Abraao, the port town where your accommodation is located and where you'll base yourself for the next couple of days.

Ilha Grande
No activities are scheduled today, so you can explore Ilha Grande however you like. The island is covered in rainforest and has several options if you want to do something. Lopes Mendes Beach is worth checking out if you take a boat trip, or you can just wander around Abraao and the nearby areas.

Ilha Grande to Rio de Janeiro
Your final day on Ilha Grande is yours to spend however you want. Later this afternoon or early evening, you'll head to the ferry dock in Abraao to catch the ferry back to Mangaratiba. Your driver will be waiting when you arrive to take you back to Rio de Janeiro.
