This day is all yours to do what you want around Rio. Whether you wander back to neighborhoods you liked, hit up a beach, check out local markets, or just relax at the hostel, it's completely flexible. You can move at your own speed and focus on what interests you most.

Rio de Janeiro City Tour
After picking you up from your accommodation in the morning, you'll spend the day seeing Rio's main attractions. The itinerary takes you through São Conrado, then into Tijuca Forest where you can walk around and see the local vegetation. From there you'll head to Christ the Redeemer for the views, move on to Santa Teresa with its colonial streets and street art, and then down to Lapa. If you want, there's an optional stop at Sugarloaf Mountain later in the afternoon to catch the sunset over the bay.
