You can obtain your visa upon arrival. Applying for a visa at the Turkmenistan embassy will take longer, so I recommend acquiring it upon arrival.

Traveler•Written July 2024My validity is Aug 15-31. Unless LOI's are mandatory linked to tour companies--as long as it is transferrable, I'm sure I can give them a small fee to transfer it to you if possible

If your LOI is still valid and you'd like to proceed, we can contact the agency and try to negotiate with them. If we're unable to do so, I recommend considering our "Group Tour in Turkmenistan (Central Asia Trip)" which is scheduled from the 28th to the 31st of August.

Applicants are advised to engage with accredited travel agencies in Turkmenistan for assistance. These agencies facilitate the procurement of a Letter of Invitation (LoI) from the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan. The LOI forms the primary basis for the Embassy to grant a visa. Possession of a printed Letter of Invitation allows travelers to enter Turkmenistan and get a visa. This document often has an extended validity, providing flexibility in terms of entry dates. The specific validity period will be indicated in the letter.
