- KMKelli· October 9th, 2023For starters, our guide Paban was excellent. He was trustworthy and as a group of three women, having a guide we could trust to keep us safe was paramount. We had some moments…leeches and spiders the size of our hands, but we’ve come to realize that’s just Nepal. I will warn other trekkers that the guest lodge in Chisapani is pretty rough. It was the nicer newer one in the area, but there was no soap, toilet paper, hot water, and I think we should have brought our own towels. The beds and pillows were damp and mildewy but the food was great. Having our own sleeping bag or sleeping bag liner would have helped. The lodging in Nagarkot was dreamy. So so good. I was so sad to leave there. All in all, even with its low points (leechmaggedon), the trek was a beautiful way to experience Nepal. Our guide always took us to trusted restaurants and none of us got sick from the food although we stayed vegetarian. If you decide to do this tour, request Paban as your guide. We’ve had other guides while here in Nepal and he became the standard for comparison.Show moreTrip date: October 2023
- Anthony· March 23rd, 2019What an experience, the Nagarkot Chispani trek, was simply amazing, with the snow-top Himalayan mountains following me throughout the whole journey. The guide was great, the porter brave and for anyone who wants a short 3-day trek in Nepal, this is the hike for you.Show moreNepal Hiking Team commented on this reviewDear Anthony, Thank you for your review and wonderful photographs. Asked on July 15th, 2023I will be traveling to Nepal beginning of October with two other friends. We're interested in your three day trek from Chisapani to Nagarkot that has meals and lodging included. I have celiac disease, a medical condition that doesn't allow me to eat any wheat based products such as breads or anything that contains wheat flour. I eat a lot of Nepalese food in Japan and the curries and tandoori are typically okay for me to eat. I see that your tour offers vegan and vegetarian and I was curious if you would be able to accommodate gluten free also. I can eat rice, corn, potatoes, and oats.
- Nepal Hiking TeamOperator•Written July 2023
We understand that you have celiac disease and cannot consume wheat-based products. Rest assured that we will make the necessary arrangements to provide gluten-free meals during the trek. Nepalese curry dishes are generally safe for you to eat, and we will ensure that those options are available to you. Additionally, since you can consume rice, corn, potatoes, and oats, we can include these ingredients in your meals to meet your dietary requirements.

Traveler•Written July 2023I went to book tonight and I'm traveling with two other women, so a group of three total of us. It doesn't seem like I can book for an odd number of people. It was asking for the name of another traveler even though I'd already listed the names of the three of us. Do I need to do two separate bookings, one for two people and another for the one traveller? Please advise how to do this.
- Nepal Hiking TeamOperator•Written July 2023
You can book the trip for the odd number of the group. I will ask Tour Radar Team to reach out to solve the programs. You can fill in one booking form for three of you. We will provide two rooms for three people without a surcharge.
