Itinerary
- Day 1
Killarney
Start your trip by arriving in Killarney, a lively town in County Kerry with shops, cafes, restaurants, and bars throughout. The town has both bus and train stations, plus a small airport just outside if you're flying in. You're positioned right at the edge of Killarney National Park, which sits on the doorstep with scenic landscapes and wildlife to explore.

- Day 2
Killarney to Black Valley
Head out on a full day hike from Killarney into the Black Valley through Killarney National Park. This 22km route climbs 565m over about 6 hours and takes you into wild, isolated terrain. On the way through, you'll pass Muckross House and get to Torc Waterfall, so there's plenty to see as you work your way through the park.

- Day 3
Black Valley to Glencar
Another solid hiking day starting from Black Valley and heading south through the MacGillicuddy Reeks. You'll cross Lough Acoose and finish in Glencar. This one's a bit tougher at 20km with 795m of climbing over 8 hours, so you'll want an early start and fuel for the longer day.

Glencar to Glenbeigh
This hike focuses on forestry trails and riverside walking, which feels different from the previous days' terrain. You'll follow the Caragh River to start, then cut through Lickeen Forest before ending in Glenbeigh. The route covers 18km with 420m of ascent over 5 hours, and Glenbeigh sits in a nice position within the Seefin Mountains horseshoe.

Depart Glenbeigh
