Today you'll continue around Victoria Falls and explore the wider area. There's plenty to do here with adventure activities available and wildlife viewing opportunities scattered throughout the region.

Livingstone to Kafue River
A long drive takes you through the rolling Miombo forested hills of southern Zambia. You're heading toward the Kafue River where you'll set up camp for the night.

Zambezi River
Your canoe safari continues through waters filled with elephants, hippos, and other wildlife. By afternoon, a motorboat picks you up and takes you back upriver to your starting campsite.

Landmarks Zambezi River - Day 6
Zambezi River to South Luangwa National Park
Head to Lusaka and spend time in the busy shops and markets stocking up on supplies for what's ahead. In the afternoon, you'll take the Great East Road and drive until sunset, beginning your route toward South Luangwa.

South Luangwa National Park

Lake Malawi
Today you'll take a boat out to explore the bays and coves around Lake Malawi. You can snorkel in the water and relax on the beaches in this scenic area.

Tete to Vilankulos
Your journey continues through Mozambique as you travel back across the Zambezi toward the Indian Ocean coast. You're heading for Vilankulos, a beach town where you'll spend the night.

Vilankulos and Bazaruto Islands
A full day exploring the Bazaruto Islands area. You'll find beautiful blue water, white sand beaches, and excellent seafood here. Snorkelling in the marine environment is available if you're interested.

Inhambane
You'll spend the day on Inhambane's beaches in a relaxed atmosphere. Your casitas are positioned nicely under the palms right next to the beach for a peaceful coastal stay.

Inhambane to Xai-Xai
Travel south along the coast to a secluded fishing lodge on the beach north of Xai-Xai. It sits on coastal dunes with views across natural bush and a wide expanse of beach. This is your last night on the beach, and you'll have a fish braai (barbeque) dinner at the lodge restaurant overlooking the Indian Ocean.

Greater Kruger to Johannesburg
In the morning, you'll tour the Panorama Route, visiting God's Window and the Three Sisters. You'll return to Johannesburg by afternoon, sun-tanned and ready to step back into your regular routine.
