By evening, you'll take a scenic river cruise on the Mekong with refreshments as the sun sets over the water.

    Phnom Penh to Siem Reap

After breakfast, you're heading to Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, a former school that was used as a Khmer Rouge prison and torture center. It's heavy but important history. Then you'll browse the Russian Market for wood carvings, stone pieces, jewelry, and Cambodian silk. Later you'll fly to Siem Reap (your own booking). Once there, you'll get on a boat to explore the floating villages of Kampong Phluck on Tonle Sap Lake, seeing stilt houses and local wildlife. On the way back, you'll stop at local communities to see how they make palm sugar and try some. The afternoon takes you through the grand circuit temples including Ta Som, which has a massive tree growing right through the eastern gopura, and Neak Pean, a small island temple with pools arranged in a cross shape. Then it's into Bayon Temple with its 54 towers and those famous 216 smiling faces carved all over, plus over a kilometer of bas-reliefs. You'll see the Terrace of the Elephants and Terrace of the Leper King next. Ta Prohm comes after, that temple with trees growing through it, along with Banteay Kdei monastery and Srah Srang pool. The tour operator was extremely responsive and proactive in confirming the timing or our arrival and departure to ensure that all was in order prior to our arrival. The timing/ order of our itinerary was customised to fit in with our arrival time. We had both a driver and tour guide at both Phnom Penh and Siem Reap who spoke proficent English and were extremely knowledgeable. I would strongly recommend taking up the optional sunrise tour in Siem Reap (can be organised with operator on arrival). When booking make sure you get the tour operator to book your flight from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap, or book it yourself at the same time as booking this tour, as flights are limited each day. Overall, an efficient your to see the main sites of Cambodia and I would thoroughly recommend using this tour operator.

My friend and I traveled to Cambodia for the first time with Euro Khmer Voyages. Our tour guide was Mr. Sareth and our driver was Mr. Savong and they made our trip the smoothest it could have been! Very wonderful experience with them and we hope they get many more tourists in the future! The best in Cambodia!
