Itinerary
- Day 1
Phnom Penh
After landing at Phnom Penh International Airport, you'll transfer to your hotel and get settled in. From there, a cyclo tour takes you through the city starting at Wat Phnom temple. You'll then move on to the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda complex, followed by the National Museum to see their Khmer sculpture collection. By evening, you're on a sunset river cruise along the Mekong River with soft drinks.

- Day 2
Phnom Penh
This morning starts at Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, the former S-21 detention center from the Khmer Rouge era. After that, you'll visit the Killing Fields at Choeung Ek. In the afternoon, you head to Phnom Penh's markets including the Central Market and Russian Market, where you can find clothing, souvenirs, jewelry, and wood and stone carvings.

Phnom Penh to Kampong Cham
You'll travel by private transport toward Kampong Cham, with a stop in Skuon to check out the famous spider market and try local specialty snacks including deep-fried insects. Continuing on, you reach Kampong Cham and visit Wat Nokhor Temple, which has a modern pagoda built within an older Angkorian temple from Jayavarman VII's period. The rest of your day is free, though you can catch sunset views of the Mekong River and the French watchtower if you like.

Kampong Cham to Kampong Thom
After breakfast, you drive about 22 kilometers north to Prasat Han Chey on a hilltop with a large monastery, multiple pagodas, and 1,500-year-old Angkorian ruins. Then you visit the world's longest bamboo bridge, which gets rebuilt each year after the rainy season. From there, you head toward Kampong Thom province, stopping at the twin hilltop temples Phnom Pros and Phnom Srei before checking in for the night.

Kampong Thom to Siem Reap
After breakfast, you drive to Sambor Prei Kuk, an ancient temple complex from the Chenla period with over 100 temples scattered in a forest setting. You'll see 1,200-year-old brick temples blended with nature, then stop at the historic Kampong Kdei bridge built around 1,000 years ago. Later you head to Siem Reap and take an afternoon boat trip to Kampong Phluck floating villages on Tonle Sap Lake, riding an ox-cart through villages and fields. The evening is yours to explore Siem Reap or visit local markets.

- Day 6
Siem Reap
There's an optional early sunrise at Angkor Wat, then breakfast at your hotel. After that, you tour Angkor Thom with its South Gate and four-face tower, then see Bayon Temple with its 54 towers and 216 smiling faces. You walk through the Terrace of the Elephants and Terrace of the Leper King, continue to Ta Prohm with its jungle overgrowth, visit Banteay Kdei monastery and Srah Srang pool. In the afternoon, you visit Angkor Wat and catch sunset from Bakheng Mountain.

Siem Reap Departure
Your morning is free, or you can take an optional tuk-tuk tour to Artisans d'Angkor, an arts school supporting local youth where you can browse carvings and silk paintings (at your own cost). After breakfast, you transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
