- Day 1
Durban to St Lucia to Private Game Reserve
You'll leave Durban this morning and drive through rolling sugar cane fields, passing through KwaDukuza on your way to St Lucia. This coastal town sits right at the entrance to iSimangaliso Wetland Park, so you're heading into some really special territory. Once you arrive, there's a boat cruise on the estuary where you'll look for birds, hippos, and crocodiles from the water. The afternoon takes you to a private game reserve for an open 4x4 safari, so you'll switch from water spotting to land-based wildlife viewing before the day wraps up.

Private Game Reserve - Hluhluwe Game Reserve
This one starts early at Hluhluwe Game Reserve with an open 4x4 safari. You're out there searching for the Big 5 along with giraffe, zebra, and kudu. The drive runs most of the day, and you'll head back to camp in the late afternoon. By evening, you're sitting around a fire in the open Boma with a hearty dinner while looking up at the African night sky and all those stars.

Hluhluwe Game Reserve to Mtunzini to Durban
You'll head out on an early game drive this morning and have breakfast at camp afterward. Then you're off to a traditional Zulu village where you'll see authentic tribal dancing and meet a Sangoma diviner, getting a real sense of the culture and traditions there. After that, you head to Mtunzini, which is basically a paradise if you're into bird watching, especially for spotting birds of prey. You'll do some short walks around the Umlalazi River and estuary to take it all in before heading back to Durban for the evening.
