Katherine
You'll head south with a choice between swimming at Edith Falls or walking through Katherine Gorge in Nitmiluk National Park where you'll grab lunch. By late afternoon, you'll settle into your private campsite on the park's edge with permanent tents and swags available. Dinner happens with the group at camp.

Katherine to Lake Argyle
After breakfast, there's time for a morning dip in Katherine Hot Springs before continuing to Lake Argyle, a massive 700 square kilometre man-made lake created by the Ord River Dam. If a sunset cruise appeals to you, that's available as an optional activity. You'll set up camp at the exclusive Ord River campsite for the night.

Lake Argyle to Purnululu National Park
You'll drive through rugged terrain in Carr Boyd and the Durack Ranges to reach Purnululu National Park and the Bungle Bungles, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for massive sandstone karsts. A walk into Echidna Chasm follows, then you'll reach the bush camp in time to catch the sunset over the Osmond Ranges. Tent or swag accommodation is your choice.

Purnululu National Park
There's no need to pack up this morning. After breakfast, you'll spend the day exploring the rock formations throughout the Bungle Bungles and hike to Cathedral Gorge. A helicopter flight over the area is available at your own expense if you're interested. You'll head back to camp as darkness falls.

Purnululu National Park to El Questro Station
This day involves serious 4WD driving as you make your way out of the Bungle Bungles through the East Kimberley region. In the afternoon, you'll explore El Questro Station and hike into Emma Gorge to see a waterfall and take a swim. From there, it's a drive to the exclusive camp on the Ord River.

Ord River and Kunnunurra
No packing required this morning. You'll explore the Ord River system, then your guide will show you around Kunnunurra, the East Kimberley's main city, including stops at Hoochery Distillery and a walk at Mirima National Park. Late afternoon brings a walk to an exclusive lookout over the Upper Ord River system before sunset.

Kunnunurra to Mount Barnett
After breakfast, you'll head onto the legendary Gibb River Road, a 600 kilometre dirt track cutting through the Kimberley's centre. You'll ford rivers and weave through gorges by 4WD on this wild stretch, with lunch and a few stops breaking up the drive time. By evening, you'll reach Mount Barnett station near Manning Gorge and camp by the freshwater river.

Mount Barnett
The morning is spent at Manning Gorge, where you can swim in the pools beneath Manning Falls. Depending on the season, Galvan's Gorge might be explored in the afternoon before you return to camp to relax by the campfire.

Western Kimberley Gorges
The western Kimberley region contains countless gorges worth seeing. After breakfast, you'll travel to Bell Gorge (if weather and road conditions allow) to see a cascade of water from previous wet season rains in the King Leopold Ranges. Afternoon time goes to Windjana Gorge, a 375 million-year-old reef cut through by the Lennard River where you might spot wild freshwater crocodiles, birds, and bats. This is your last night camping together in the Western Kimberley.

Napier Range to Broome
You'll start the day with a guided walk through Tunnel Creek in the Napier Range, an extensive limestone cave system that extends 750 metres underground. You'll experience sunlight streaming through crevices, bats, and enormous stalactites. After, it's the final drive to Broome, timed to hopefully catch the sunset at Cable Beach.
