Itinerary
- Day 1
Amman
You'll arrive at Queen Alia International Airport where a transfer will take you to your hotel if you've arranged one. Before your 5 pm welcome meeting, there's time to explore Amman on your own. The Roman Theatre is worth checking out, or you could head to The Jordan Museum to see the Dead Sea Scrolls. The Umayyad Palace ruins are another option if you prefer walking through historical sites. After the meeting wraps up, you'll join your group for dinner and get to know your fellow travellers.

- Day 2
Ajloun - Jerash
Start early with a short walk along the Soap House Trail in Ajloun Forest Reserve, passing through oak and pistachio trees. You'll meet local women who still make traditional olive soap by hand. From there, head to Jerash to walk through the ancient ruins and see the Colonnaded Street with its chariot wheel grooves still visible in the stones. Back in Amman by evening, you have free time to either visit the Citadel or find a local restaurant for dinner on your own.

- Day 3
Madaba - Dana - Petra
Drive south on the Desert Highway toward Petra, stopping in Madaba to walk through Ottoman-style houses and see Byzantine mosaics from centuries past. You might spot traditional Bedouin tents along the way. Continue to Dana Village, a nature reserve where a local guide will lead you through terraced gardens while sharing stories about residents and their way of life. Settle into your hotel in Petra and spend the evening relaxing.

- Day 4
Petra
Push through the narrow Siq to reach Petra, then explore the old Roman road, temples, and rock-cut tombs scattered throughout the site. The amphitheatre carved into the rock is something to see. If you're feeling up for it, take the clifftop path to the Monastery for views across the whole area. Later you'll join a cooking class where you'll prepare baba ghanoush, hummus, kabsah, and mjadra while learning how traditional Arabic dishes come together.

Wadi Rum
After breakfast, travel toward Wadi Rum and stop in Little Petra for tea with a local Bedouin family. Once you reach Wadi Rum, climb into a jeep and drive through desert landscapes that look like another planet. You'll pass Lawrence Spring, a freshwater source surrounded by striking rock formations, and visit Lawrence House. Check out famous rock bridges and sand dunes before heading to your Bedouin-style camp. That night, you can sleep under the stars if you choose, surrounded by desert and a sky full of them.

- Day 6
Aqaba
Travel from the desert to Aqaba on the Red Sea coast for the afternoon and evening. You can grab a mask and flippers to snorkel the coral reefs just south of town, take a walk along the shore, or just relax by the pool. If history interests you, the 14th century Ottoman Fort is there, the place connected to Lawrence of Arabia's journey to Cairo.

Dead Sea
Drive along the King's Highway, a winding route through rocky hills where you might see shepherds with their flocks. The road gradually descends until you reach the Dead Sea. Put on your swimwear and float in the salty water, then cover yourself with the nutrient-rich mud from the shore. Later, join your group for dinner at a nearby restaurant if you'd like.

Dead Sea
After breakfast at your resort, your trip through Jordan ends today. If staying longer appeals to you, that option exists. Otherwise, Queen Alia International Airport is roughly an hour's drive from the Dead Sea, so you'll head back to Amman for your departure.
