Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Jerusalem
You'll arrive at Ben Gurion Airport where someone meets you for the drive to your hotel in greater Jerusalem on the West Bank. Once you check in, the rest of your day is open. Settling in and getting your bearings at your own pace works well after traveling.



- Day 2
Jerusalem and Bethlehem
Start from the Mount of Olives to take in the views, then walk through the ancient olive trees at the Garden of Gethsemane. The Church of Agony shows off its mosaics next. After that, head to the Israel Museum where you'll see the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Model of the Herodian City. Later you'll pay respects at Yad Vashem Holocaust memorial, then check out the village of Ein Karem. Spend your afternoon in Bethlehem visiting the Church of the Nativity and Shepherds' Fields.

- Day 3
Jerusalem Old City and Mount Zion
After breakfast, you'll enter the Old City through one of its historic gates and walk through the Jewish Quarter to see the 2,000-year-old Western Wall. The Via Dolorosa comes next, the route Jesus took to Calvary, ending at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Wander through the colorful bazaars for souvenirs, then head to Mount Zion where you'll see King David's tomb, the Room of the Last Supper, and Dormition Abbey. By evening, head to Mahane Yehuda market where the vibrant mix of flavors and colors wraps up your day.

- Day 4
Jerusalem to Tiberias via Jericho, Beit Shean, Nazareth and Safed
You'll leave Jerusalem and drive north through Jericho, known as the oldest city in the world, into the Jordan Valley. Check out the Roman excavations at Beit Shean, then continue to Nazareth to see the Church of the Annunciation and Mary's Well. From there, head to Safed in northern Galilee where you'll walk through the city's mystic alleys and see its artists' colony.

- Day 5
Golan Heights, Sea of Galilee and Tiberias
Drive to the Golan Heights to see former fortifications and Druze villages. You'll visit an Israeli vineyard for wine tasting and learn about production methods while sampling different wines in beautiful countryside. Then head to Banias, the source of the Jordan River, and continue to the Sea of Galilee where you'll see Peter's House and ancient synagogue ruins in Capernaum, Mount Beatitudes, and Tabgha. Later you'll tour a diamond emporium and finish with a short walk through Tiberias, an ancient center of Jewish learning.

- Day 6
Tiberias to Tel Aviv via Acre, Haifa and Caesarea
Drive west to Acre and explore its medieval Crusader fortifications. In Haifa, tour the Bahai Shrine and Persian Gardens, then head up Mount Carmel for panoramic views of the city. Continue south to Caesarea to see the Roman Theatre and Crusader Fortress, then finish the day arriving in Tel Aviv on the Mediterranean Coast.

You have the whole day free in Tel Aviv to explore at your own pace. Or, if you prefer, you can book a separate day trip to the Dead Sea and swim in its buoyant waters.

Departure from Tel Aviv
