This tour was great! We got to see everything on our list. The accommodations were generally upscale, in good locations. The food was exceptional. Our tour guide Sheryl made a great tour even better. She did extra things for us, like champagne and sweets during an excursion. I highly recommend this tour.

It was great except for the final 25 hour travel day. The flight home should have been a direct flight from San Francisco to Chicago rather than going back to Seattle then to OHare.

Pacific NW and CA was an excellent trip! Just love the city tours; Seattle WA, Portland, OR and San Francisco, CA. Stops at the Space Needle, a ride on the Monorail, Pike Place Market, Olympia, Mt Hood route, Oregon coast line...way to many sites to list. You need to explore!! The best part: the planning and driving is done by those that know best! Thank you to Warco Transportation, Memories Tour & Travel, and Collette Travel.

Tour was great. Best part no planning and no driving! Plenty of stops. Things to see. More than enough places to eat. Lots of things to see walking around. Felt safe in everywhere!

I think the overall tour was great . I wasn't always happy with some of the prearranged restaurants and choice of food , but I do realize it probably satisfied most people and it's not the tours fault if the restaurant was poor .( food was very late being served and the meal was cold) , It was my first Collette tour and was very pleased and booked another . Everything I signed up for on this tour did not disappoint ! The redwoods were amazing and the Oregon coast beautiful. Seattle sights were just perfect!

    Ashley

    Asked on September 6th, 2025

Do I need to make flight reservation for the 6th and 13th or 5th and 14th? Or do you do that for me? If you do it for me will you be at the airport to take me to the hotel and then vice versa on day of departure?

I know I get to pay through the nose for a single room. I don't suppose there's any discount or which I am not aware?

    • ColletteOperatorWritten September 2025

Our airfare package does include round-trip airport to hotel transfers.

Being on a waitlist means that tour group space and/or components required for you to join the tour are on request. Our team would work to clear your reservation.

Do we get to stop and walk around redwood forest

    Tour Details
    • ColletteOperatorWritten June 2025

Yes, you get to engage with the redwoods. On Day 5, the tour group takes part in a short hike in Big Tree Wayside to a 275ft tree. And on Day 6 there is some immersion in the forest by way of a panoramic drive through it. More or less of this type of immersion may be possible by coordinating with the Tour Manager in destination.

    Asked on May 21st, 2022

Does this tour go in reverse - San Francisco to Seattle?

    Tour Details
    • ColletteOperatorWritten May 2022

There are some rare instances where we run the tour in a reverse itinerary, but it is not often.

  • J

    Jose

    Asked on May 3rd, 2022

Wondering if we can do some specific things in the cities on the itinerary. Like say we want to visit a rose garden in Portland for instance? would that be possible. I am traveling with a senior mum who is mobile but wouldnt want to walk too much as her knees hurt. How much walking is there on this tour?

    Tour Details
    Travel Support
    • ColletteOperatorWritten May 2022

You are able to participate in anything you would like during leisure time while on the tour. In Portland, as outlined in the daily itinerary, we do visit the International Rose Test Garden so you would not need to do that on your own. The overall activity level of this tour is a level 2. This means you like a balanced approach to travel. You feel confident walking at least 30-45 minutes at a time over a variety of terrains – from cobblestone streets to easy pathways; a couple of hills or a few flights of stairs. You're comfortable walking a few city blocks at a time, but need some time to unwind and relax.

Is airfare included and is there transportation from and to airports?

    Flights / Transfers
    • ColletteOperatorWritten January 2022

Airfare is not included in the land price and is in addition to pricing shown. Rates are dependent on the airport you are flying from and when air is booked. If airfare is purchased through Collette, airport to hotel and hotel to airport transfers are included for standard tour dates. If you book airfare on your own, you can purchase transfers for $100 per person on standard tour dates.
