- KHKelsey· September 29th, 2025This trip was a scam, I’d recommend going with a different tour company. They treated us like atms - squeezing every last drop of cash out of us. We booked as a couple, and requested the double bed option but we’re still made to re book a shared room and pay at each leg. The hostels were dirty, beds full of hair and bugs. The guide ran a tipping scam. The only places we were taken were complete tourist traps and our Halong bay leg was cancelled due to typhoon (fair) but no refund was offered or given. We left the group two days early as we could no longer handle the feeling of being used. Our honeymoon was ruined and we’re both pretty traumatised by the whole experience. Don’t let yourselves fall into the same trap.Show more

I spent approximately 900€ for 11 days and almost no activities are included in the price. The two or three that are were extremely mediocre and each day there was an optional activity that cost you about 25-30 USD. They engage in false advertising if you ask me. The pace of the tour was also too fast, not allowing enough time in each place. Darren· December 8th, 2022We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Vietnam with G Adventures! Our guide, Chenda was absolutely amazing and was there to provide assistance at every stage. Chenda also did a great job of providing recommendations at each stop of the tour to ensure we got the most out of our experience. The trip allowed us to see all of Vietnam, visiting all of the attractions we wanted to see, including the Golden Hands bridge which was not on the itinerary! We also tasted some amazing food and drinks, met some amazing people and made some brilliant memories! The local guides used by G Adventures were also great. They were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I liked having local guides who understood the history of Vietnam and had witnessed it at first hand. The only thing I would say which could be improved is the combining of different groups from different trips. It makes it harder for different sets of people to integrate and also makes it harder at the end when some of the group depart and others join to replace them. I have never had this on other tours and really don’t think it works well for those on the tour.
