The food was delicious but there was far too much downtime and the itinerary needs to be adjusted. Not up to Intrepids usual standard and certainly well short of the food tour in Sri Lanka and other intrepid tours we have done.

Shakti also went out of his way to make sure the group was always satisfied. From the moment he introduced himself I felt welcome.

Our guide, Chandrajeet, was fantastic. I cannot over exaggerate his level of dedication to not only our health and safety, but also to our enjoyment of the tour. There was no problem he could not solve and no request was treated as insignificant. His reliability and flexibility was highly noteworthy and he refused to consider his own comfort until we had finished for the day and were retiring to our hotel rooms for the night.

Our tour guide Chandrajeet was phenomenal. He helped to create a group and family whilst on tour, as well as ensuring our safety and comfort at all times. The places we visited were amazing; but the way in which they were brought to life by Chandrajeet made it a once in a lifetime trip. Chandrajeet learned early on that every one in the group loved chai masala and he was only too happy to seek out lots of opportunities throughout the trip to indulge us and treat us to the chai.
