- Andrey· May 31st, 2025I found the “Taste of Europe” tour to be incredibly rich and eventful. Breakfast in magnificent Paris, lunch on the central square of a medieval Burgundian town, dinner in a Swiss chalet — and so it went for all seven days. The success of this trip was ensured by our leader Antonio, with his excellent interactive, educational, and entertaining program, his 24/7 availability, and his genuine care, as well as by our friendly driver Krzysztof, with his expert driving and the cleanliness he maintained in our comfortable bus. It was an enjoyable, unforgettable journey. Thank you!Show moreTrip date: May 2025

- YFYunping· May 29th, 2025Branden, our tour guide, demonstrated an excellent service attitude throughout the trip. He was always smiling, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone. At each attraction, he introduced the historical and cultural background with vivid and humorous storytelling, making the experience both engaging and educational. His lively explanations helped us gain a deeper appreciation for the cultural and historical significance of each site. In addition to his captivating commentary, Branden also shared a wealth of practical travel tips, which greatly helped us plan our itinerary and make the most of every moment of our journey.Show moreTrip date: May 2025

- Donna· May 29th, 2025This was a great overview of so many parts of Europe. the small towns we visited were especially enjoyable. The reason for the lower score was that the amount of walking and the pace was not accurately depicted and may not be appropriate for many guests. We walked 4-6 miles per day on most days at very fast pace over cobblestone streets. there were a lot of complaints from the group on the pace and the distances and lack of being able to enjoy the sights along the walk.Show moreTrip date: May 2025
- TWTony· May 26th, 2025The trip and destinations were good, but too hectic. We need a holiday to recover from the holiday. Really early starts and too tired to do much at night. Brando was very knowledgeable but also too much pushing his own ideas on life, what you buy, eating habits and health. I heard many say the same thing. Look he’s a nice guy but needs to tone down his opinions a bit. But overall We were happy with the trip and would have no problem recommending expat othersShow moreTrip date: May 2025

- AAnonymous· May 12th, 2025Overall, we had a fantastic experience! The true highlight of the trip was our tour guide, Antonio — he was an absolute rockstar. His energy, organization, and leadership really brought the group together and made each day smooth and enjoyable. That said, I do have a couple of suggestions that could make the tour even better. The tour currently begins in London, but the first day is essentially spent driving straight to Paris, which feels like a wasted opportunity. Starting the tour in Paris would not only save that travel day but also give guests more time to explore one of the key cities. I also felt that the time in Germany was underwhelming — we didn’t spend much time there, and it felt more like a pass-through than a meaningful stop. With a few adjustments to the itinerary, especially by starting in Paris and reallocating time from less impactful portions, this tour could be even more adventurous and rewarding. Still, it was a great value overall, and again, Antonio made the experience truly exceptional!Show moreTrip date: May 2025

Due to the nature of our tours being packed with activities and extensive walking, we have established a minimum age limit of 10 years old, as they may not be suitable for young children.

Asked on May 7th, 2025I am interested to take the Europe taster trip in the month of June. We will be 4 people travelling and celebrating my husband's and daughter's milestone birthdays. Is there any chance that I can get the Jun 1st trip for the 27 July price(976$)? It would be really helpful for us to plan the budget.

Asked on May 7th, 2025We will be booking a tour in July from Paris and wanted to inquire whether there would be any way to join up with the Europe Taster tour from Paris on day 1?
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written May 2025
Yes, you're welcome to join the tour in Paris on Day 1 instead of starting in London. While the official meeting point is in London at 10:00 AM, you can coordinate with the tour leader to catch up with the group in Paris later in the day—just let us know in advance so we can inform the tour leader.

Asked on May 2nd, 2025Can I sign up for my sisters. My 2 sisters are from Los Angeles. Can they fly from there? I live in Chicago. if our plan of trip is 9/28, what date should we depart? return? Any recommended airline for the cheapest or affordable airfare? Do we need visas for all these countries included in the tour? How do we go about it? How much baggage and weight can we bring to this trip?
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written May 2025
Expat Explore and Tour Radar do not have the capacity to book flights for our travelers, this means that you will have to arrange flights from your end. Regarding when to fly in and out for the tour, that would truly depend on the travel time from your location to London, what you need to take note is that the tour starts at 6:30 AM - 7:00 AM on Day 1 and ends at around 8:00 PM on the last day. Visas are not required for US Passport Holders but you will have to apply for an ETA for The UK online prior to the tour. Each Traveller is allowed to bring one main piece of luggage weighing no more than 20kg, and one small soft bag (such as a small daypack or backpack) for hand luggage weighing a maximum of 7kg. On all tours, you will have to carry your own luggage (e.g. into hotels and up to your room if hotels don't have elevators). Please bear this in mind when you are deciding what to pack.

Asked on May 1st, 2025Do i have to give tip to the tour guide & driver?
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written May 2025
Whilst we fully understand that some nationalities are not accustomed to tipping, this is a normal part of the culture in many of the countries we visit. Tipping has become an increasingly accepted practice in all areas of the service industry, but particularly in restaurants, bars and taxis worldwide. We suggest somewhere between £4-£6, €5-€7 or $6-$8 per person per day. Tipping is entirely voluntary and the above rate is offered as a suggested guide only.
