- RMRowelaine· October 16th, 2025Would highly recommend this tour. I had an unforgettable time seeing beautiful sights as well as historical sites. Our tour guide Anna was amazing. Anna is very kind and patient. she addressed everyone’s needs and managed everyone’s expectation and that not an easy task because there were 15 of us. I was also lucky to be with a group that was so welcoming and supportive.Show moreTrip date: October 2025
- RRichard· October 5th, 2025A comfortable dolomites hiking adventure made possible by Exodus, hotel Adler, our guide Rob Mason. Rob shows passion for geology, and history. Lyn· September 28th, 2025Everything about the group experience was fantastic. Small group of 14 made up of 13 English and 3 Australians plus Rob, our guide. He is engaging and knowledgeable on all aspects of nature, history, local culture and extremely competent in mountain guiding. We were accommodated, organised and entertained by Rob each day on tour. The hotel Adler in Villabassa was comfortable and quiet in a small village atmosphere but had exceptional food. Each dinner was fabulous and food varied to showcase the more Austrian location. We found this a great variation on the cuisine we had been enjoying in other Italian regions prior to our hiking week. The staff there were very friendly and engaging at all times. We made use of all Ammenities including the indoor pool and gym after hiking and on the rest day. The highlight of the hotel experience was the traditional meal in the wine cellar. Fabulous ambience, food and wine. Our family cannot recommend this highly enough. We have just completed the week, starting near the end of September. Whilst still warm on the first day, we had first snow later that weekShow more

Asked on October 6th, 2025Can you please let me know the cost of a single room supplement...
Exodus Adventure TravelsOperator•Written October 2025The cost of a single room supplement is £370. Please see attached the trip notes which will give you a detailed view on the day-by-day itinerary and what is included.

Traveler•Written October 2025as I am a solo traveller, how is it possible for me to share a room?
Exodus Adventure TravelsOperator•Written October 2025If you're travelling solo you'll be in good company, as around 50% of our travelers are on their own - so it's very rare that you'd be the only single traveler. Plus, there's no single supplement if you're happy to share a room with another person of the same sex. On our small group holidays, you're guaranteed to meet like-minded people who all share your passion for adventure and exploring the world. On every trip, our groups usually range from 8-16 people, making them ideal for friends, couples and solo travelers, so you can rest assured you'll have a good mix of people

Traveler•Written October 2025if there is no one I can share with, what happens then?
Exodus Adventure TravelsOperator•Written October 2025If you choose a twin share room and we are unable to match you with another traveler, you will have the room to yourself.

Traveler•Written September 2025May I join this tour from Day 3 Sep 29 dinner to Day 8 Oct 4 breakfast? May I stay an extra night Oct 4 at the hotel? Could you arrange a local hiking guide on Oct 4?
Exodus Adventure TravelsOperator•Written September 2025Our Oct 4 departure is currently sold out. The 27 Sep 2025 departure date is on request availability. You can join us later if you wish, but you would need to make your own way to the hotel to meet the rest of the group. We would not adjust the tour price for any missed portions of the tour. We could assist in adding an extra hotel night post tour, however we would not be able to secure you a private guide for that day.

Asked on April 11th, 2025We are looking for help planning a trip to the Northern region of Italy. We would like 2-3 days in the Val Gardena area if the Dolomites. We want to hike Seceda Hike and Alpe Di Siusi on our own, but have transport in the area. Spend a day or two at Como and perhaps some other areas recommended in the area (Lake Misurina, perhaps). We are also interested in the train to the highest point in Switzerland, if that is available -- transport and setting up a hotel there. We want to be budget conscious and do not need luxury hotels, but want clean, well maintained and safe lodging. We prefer to use private or public transportation only and not need a rental car.
Exodus Adventure TravelsOperator•Written April 2025We operate small-guided group travel, and do not offer customizable tours. If you are interested in booking either of these tours, please let us know!

Asked on March 26th, 2025I have some clients interested in a tour that involves hiking the Dolomites to Lake Garda. Is Lake Garda one of your destinations or is it possible to add a stay there for a couple nights on the back end? This is a family of 5, with 2 parents and 3 adult children. Are there any hotel rooms that have 3 beds for the adult children, or 2 beds and a couch?
Exodus Adventure TravelsOperator•Written March 2025Unfortunately, we do not currently offer family tours in the Dolomites. How old are the children? If over the age of 16, they may join one of our regular tours. Please note, that our Dolomites tours do not include Lake Garda. You would need to book this separately, pre or post tour.

Asked on March 23rd, 2025What is the exact price for x1 person for the tour departing on 04/10? What is your cancellation policy? Do participants stay at the same hotel the whole time and complete a different day hike each morning? Do participants need hiking equipment? Do you provide hiking equipment? Are all hikes accompanied by an experienced guide?
Exodus Adventure TravelsOperator•Written March 2025The cost for one person (based on a twin share) for the 4th of Oct departure is £2099. If you would like to have your own room, the single supplement is an additional £300. Yes, the accommodation will be the same throughout your stay. Yes, hikes are accompanied by an experienced leader.

Asked on February 5th, 2025Do you Dolomites tours that go to Tre Cime di Lavaredo, also include going to Cadini Di Masadieri Viewpoint? (small 2 hour nearby hike) Also, I noticed the tours don't include Seceda. DO I need to organise this myself?
Exodus Adventure TravelsOperator•Written February 2025The walk at Tre Cime di Lavaredo does not include going to Cadini Di Masadieri viewpoint. If you'd like to include Seceda, this is perhaps possible on your free day. You can certainly chat to the tour leader to assist in planning a trip there if possible. Alternatively, you can extend your stay at the end of the trip to arrange to visit Seceda, and you will need to make these arrangements independently.

Asked on August 17th, 2024do you have accommodation that would cater for two woman in a twin share room rather that larger room sleeping accommodation. What would be the fitness level required. From what I read it seems moderate / good level do you have estimated trekking time per day. We are from New Zealand used to walking
Exodus Adventure TravelsOperator•Written August 2024We offer twin rooms, so we can accommodate for 2 women in a twin share room. The 14 June 2025 is an activity level 3 departure. You should be comfortable walking an average distance of 8-15km per day. Walking will be between 5 - 7 hours.

Asked on April 11th, 2024Difficulty of hike/walks please, interested and fit 50s but do have knee to look after.
Exodus Adventure TravelsOperator•Written April 2024Due to the nature of the terrain on this trip, neither walking levels are recommended for vertigo sufferers. This trip is graded Activity Level 3 (Moderate) or Activity Level 5 (Challenging), date dependent. Most weeks offer Activity Level 3 (Moderate) walking, where we usually walk between five and seven hours per day. The area we are visiting is criss-crossed by a network of long-established trails and walking paths, most well-maintained and waymarked. Even so, paths are rocky and on occasion exposed. A reasonable level of fitness is required for these weeks. On some weeks, we offer Level 5 (Challenging) walking. On these departures, we usually walk between six and eight hours per day at a steady pace. We use established trails and mountain paths, which are often steep, rocky and more exposed than the Level 3 walks. For these departures, you will need to be surefooted and have a good level of fitness. Some fixed equipment (such as holding onto a steel wire or handrail for security) may be encountered. Following a review of all our trips we have categorised this trip as generally not suitable for persons of reduced mobility.
