Itinerary
- Day 1ArrivalYou'll be picked up and driven to your hotel to get settled in. Spend the afternoon checking the reception boards for details about when your tour officially kicks off the next day. 
- Day 2RomeStart with a three-hour guided tour that mixes walking through Imperial Rome with a bus ride through the city. You'll pass the Arch of Constantine, see the Colosseum from the outside, walk through the Imperial Forums, and check out Circus Maximus before reaching Vatican City around 11:00 a.m. After some free time, you'll head to Trastevere for dinner in the evening and get back to your hotel around 8:30 p.m. - Meals

- Day 3RomeThis is your day to wander Rome at your own pace. Head out and find what interests you, whether that's smaller churches, neighborhoods you haven't seen, local shops, or just walking around the streets. - Meals

- Day 4Rome to FlorenceTravel north from Rome to Florence through nice countryside. Stop at Michelangelo Viewpoint first for the views, then walk down into the city center. You'll have time for lunch on your own, then join a guided walking tour hitting the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio where goldsmiths sell their work, and Piazza della Signoria. The rest of your afternoon is free. - Meals

- Day 5Florence to GenoaTake a tourist train to Pisa to see Piazza dei Miracoli and the Leaning Tower. From there, travel to Cinque Terre on a commuter train, arriving at one of the five villages (usually Vernazzo). After lunch, you'll train to Levanto and then bus to Genoa where you have the evening to explore the city center. - Meals

- Day 6Genoa to MilanHead to Santa Margherita Ligure and catch a boat to Portofino for a seaside walk and free time. After lunch, continue on to Milan where you can explore the city and visit the Gothic cathedral in Piazza del Duomo along with the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. - Meals
