Zaandam
You'll board the MS Leonora starting at 4:00 p.m. and receive a welcome cocktail as you settle in. Spend the afternoon relaxing on deck or exploring the ship at your own pace before heading to dinner and your first night on board.

Zaandam - Wijk bij Duurstede
The morning is free to check out Zaandam, which sits just 12 minutes by train from Amsterdam. The Zaanse Schans open-air museum features traditional windmills and craft workshops if that interests you, or you can visit the striking Hotel Inntel Zaandam with its unique architecture. Later the ship sails to Wijk bij Duurstede where you can wander around this historic riverside town, see the medieval castle, stroll through the old town center, and take walks along the river before evening.

Wijk bij Duurstede - Arnhem
You have the morning free in Wijk bij Duurstede to explore on your own schedule. Consider visiting the castle ruins, checking out the Grote Kerk church in the market square, or walking under the unusual Rijn en Lek mill that sits on top of a city gate. In the evening the ship heads to Arnhem so you can see this historic city with its significant World War II connections.

Arnhem - Nijmegen
Start with a free morning in Arnhem where you can visit the John Frost Bridge and Hartenstein Airborne Museum, or spend time in the city's parks and green spaces. If you're interested, the nearby Veluwe National Park and Kröller-Müller Museum are also options. Later there's a guided tour of Nijmegen after you sail there, and then you'll cruise along the scenic Rhine with views from the Sol Bridge in the afternoon.

Nijmegen - Amsterdam
You'll depart early from Nijmegen and cruise toward Amsterdam, arriving by lunchtime. Spend your time exploring this city known for its 100+ kilometers of canals and 80 bridges. The Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum, and Anne Frank House are popular choices if you want to spend time indoors. Otherwise, walk through Dam Square to see the Royal Palace and Nieuwe Kerk, or explore the Red Light District's distinctive character.
