- Day 1
Venice to Opatija
You'll get picked up from either Tronchetto bus station or one of Venice's airports (Marco Polo or Treviso) and head to Opatija, a charming resort town sitting along Croatia's Adriatic coast. Once you arrive and get settled in, the evening is yours to wander around town and get a feel for the place before you settle in for the night.

- Day 2
Opatija
This morning starts with a guided walk through Opatija where you'll check out Angiolina park and the Lungomare sea promenade, which runs along elegant Austro-Hungarian villas. Your guide fills you in on the town's history as a favorite retreat for the Habsburgs and European aristocracy back in the day. After the tour, you've got time to wander the streets on your own, soak in the atmosphere, and then return to your hotel for the night.

Opatija - Pula - Rovinj - Opatija
You're heading out to the Istrian peninsula today. First stop is Pula to see the ancient Roman Amphitheatre, a structure that's been standing for about 2,000 years. From there, you travel to Rovinj, a beautiful coastal town with narrow cobbled streets, art galleries, and cliffside bars where you can spend free time however you like. Your guide takes you on a walking tour of the town, and then you're transferred back to Opatija for the night.
