What people love about Istria Tours
- Discover Croatia, Slovenia and the Adriatic Coast (2025)THE DISCOVER CROATIA, SLOVENIA AND THE ADRIATIC TOUR WAS EXCELLENT. The tour manager, Mojca Zdesar was well organized, communicated very well and was very knowledgeable of the regions history and landscape. Everything was on time and the spots were wonderful. The trip includes beautiful seaside towns, old cities and palaces and a spectacular national park. The November trip(last of the season) had mild weather, cool nights and a couple rainy days but there are no lines at the most popular sites.
- Walking adventure through green Istria - Long tourThe tour was very well organized overall. An enjoyable and interesting aspect of the hiking tour was that the trail for each day covered varied and different terrain- no 2 days were the same. The lodging was also varied and of consistent quality. Our favorite was Villa Borgo in Motovun. This tour offered a unique way to truly see and experience the Istrian Peninsula, up close and personal, on foot.
- Cycling from Trieste to PulaWe would have preferred to spend the first night in Lucia or Potoroz, Slovenia where there was more choices of restaurants and shops. The hotel Lovac was fine, but there was nothing else around and we were there for two nights. All other hotels were very well chosen. They were nicely situated right were we wanted to be. On last cycling day of our trip we were on gravel roads for about 13kms. That was very worrisome and difficult on road bikes. We were told that we would be giving different directions, but that was not so.
