Bucharest
You'll arrive in Bucharest and make your own way to the hotel. After checking in and getting settled, you have free time to walk around and see what the city's nightlife has to offer. Later in the evening, your guide will go over what to expect for the rest of the trip.

Bucharest
Following breakfast, you'll join a guided tour taking in Bucharest's key spots like Revolution Square, the Romanian Athenaeum, and Villa Crosse Passage. From there you'll wander through the historic Old Town, stopping at Manuc's Inn and the Old Princely Court. The afternoon is yours to explore at your own pace.

Bucharest - Peles Castle - Bran Castle - Sibiu
Head out early toward Sinaia and your first stop at Peles Castle, a 19th-century royal residence that's been well-preserved. Next you'll see Bran Castle, the 14th-century fortress linked to the Dracula legend, where you'll learn the actual history of Vlad Dracula. After that you'll drive on to Sibiu for the night.

- Day 4
Sibiu - Corvin Castle - Timisoara
After breakfast, take a walking tour through Sibiu's Old Town, which was named European Capital of Culture in 2007. Then you'll head to Corvin Castle, a large Gothic fortress with plenty of history and legends attached to it. You'll have some free time there before driving on to Timisoara for the night.

Timisoara - Vrsac - Belgrade
Start with breakfast and a walking tour of Timisoara's Old Town, where you'll see Turkish and Austro-Hungarian architecture from when it was European Capital of Culture in 2019. You'll pass through Arad for a brief look around, then stop at the recently rebuilt fortress in Vr\u0161ac for views from the hills. Later you'll cross into Serbia and continue to Belgrade.

Sarajevo - Vrelo Bosna - Mostar
Following breakfast, you'll take a walking tour of Bascarsija, the historic area where Eastern and Western cultures met, with its Oriental character. Next you'll visit Vrelo Bosna to see the river's source and the natural scenery around it. Then you'll head to Mostar and walk through the Old Town, see the iconic Stari Most bridge (UNESCO World Heritage site), and the old charshija. Lunch comes with a view at a local spot where you can try traditional Turkish coffee.

You'll walk through the Old Town with its well-preserved walls and terra-cotta roof tiles (a UNESCO World Heritage site), then have time to wander on your own.

Dubrovnik - Kotor - Tirana
You'll be picked up from your hotel for a scenic drive from Dubrovnik to Tirana. You'll have free time to walk around Kotor before continuing to Tirana and checking in by evening.

- Day 10
Tirana - Ohrid
After breakfast, join a panoramic tour of Tirana covering Skanderbeg Square, the Skanderbeg Statue, the Et'hem Bey Mosque, and the Clock Tower. Then you'll head toward Ohrid, passing through the landscape of the former communist state. Following customs, you'll explore Ohrid's Old Town with its views of the port, various churches and monasteries, Samoil's Fortress, and Lake Ohrid before settling in for the night.

You'll see the detailed frescoes, beautiful architecture, and calm mountain surroundings of this important spiritual and architectural site before continuing to Sofia.

On the way, you'll stop in Veliko Tarnovo, the former Bulgarian Empire's capital, for lunch and a quick look around this nice Balkan city. Then you'll continue to Bucharest where the tour wraps up.
