Itinerary
- Day 1
Mombasa to Tsavo East National Park
You'll start early with breakfast before the drive along Mombasa Highway toward Tsavo East National Park. Once you enter through either Bachuma or Voi Gate, your first game drive begins and you'll be watching for elephants, lions, buffaloes, zebras, and giraffes. The park's famous red elephants often show up here too. By midday you'll reach Ashnil Aruba Lodge for check-in with a welcome drink, followed by lunch. The afternoon gives you time to relax or watch the action at Aruba Dam. Later you'll head out for an evening game drive that runs until sunset, then return to the lodge for dinner.

Tsavo East National Park
This day starts before sunrise with a game drive, which is really the best window for spotting predators and catching wildlife as they become active. You'll head back to the lodge for breakfast, then have time in mid-morning to relax by the pool or sit overlooking Aruba Dam. After lunch, you're heading out again for a longer afternoon game drive. This one explores areas like Lugard Falls, Mudanda Rock, and Kanderi Swamp. You'll get back before dusk and settle in for dinner and the rest of the evening.

Tsavo East National Park to Mombasa
If time works out, there's an optional dawn game drive to catch early-morning activity. You'll return to the lodge for a slow breakfast before checking out. One more game drive happens on your way toward the park exit gate. From there, you're heading to either Nairobi or Mombasa, arriving in the early afternoon if you're going to Nairobi, or late evening if Mombasa is your destination.
