Our guide, Charles, was very knowledgeable and did everything he could to get the best view of the animals and the most out of our experience. - itamar· July 2nd, 2024I made and paid for the reservation that inlcuded 3 game drives with a Land Cruiser 4X4, and without informing me they modified the tour for only 2 game drives, and offered and lousy MiniVan, not proper for dirt roads, broken bridges, flooded roads. They charged for 3 park entrance fees knowing that it would be only 2. I could go on only one game drive when they provided a 4X4 as reserved. Lunch on that day was terrible, not to be eaten. The manager of the tour company threatened me to not leave Kenya unless I agree with the changes. NEVER GO ON A TOUR WITH A MINIVAN. Bad driver almost killed all the passengers on a lane pass over the Rift Valley and the incoming 6 axle truck CAME TO a full stop bumper to bumper NOT TO KILL all of us.Show moreTrip date: June 2024

The guide kept pushing us to go to Masai village and give 'tips' instead of evening game drive. There were a few people here and there who would spend 2 mins with you and then ask for 'tip'. Also, on the 3rd day, the mentioned morning game drive in the itenary didn't happen. So basically I paid so much money + extra on 'tips' for just a 1.5 days of experience. I would prefer above standard accommodation, however I will be traveling on a budget as well and would like to stick to a reasonable daily rate for the trip. As well, open to suggestions on how to get from Masai Mara to Uganda (whether returning to Nairobi and flying to Entebbe) or driving from Masai Mara. Would you have an itinerary to share with the total costs?
