- Day 1
Agadir to Ouarzazate
You'll leave Agadir early in a 4x4, driving south through mountain passes and desert terrain. Stop in Taroudant to walk around this charming town, then continue on through Taliouine and Tazenakht. After lunch, you'll reach Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site that's worth your time. In the afternoon, head to Atlas Film Studios where they've shot Hollywood movies, and you'll end the day at your riad in Ouarzazate.

Ouarzazate to Merzouga
After breakfast, you'll drive across the Rose Valley and Dades Valley heading toward Todra Gorges for a short walk and lunch. From there, continue east across desert landscape to Erg Chebbi where you'll take a camel ride out to the sand dunes. You'll watch the sunset from the top of the dunes, then spend the night at a luxury desert camp with dinner included.

Merzouga to Zagora
There's an optional early sunrise climb up the dunes if you want to get up (otherwise, just have breakfast). After eating, take a camel ride back to Merzouga, then transfer by 4x4 through the remote Saghro Mountain range. You'll pass through mountain villages like Tazzarine and N'Kob (where the film Babel was shot), with lunch in one of these villages. You'll reach Zagora by mid to late afternoon, then check out the Zagora Palmerie where traditional Saharan silversmiths work and live.

Zagora to Marrakech
You'll leave Zagora after breakfast, driving west toward Marrakech through the Anti-Atlas mountains and over the Tizi-n-Tinfifte mountain pass at 1660m/5446ft. Stop at Kasbah Tifoultoute in Ouarzazate, which was originally the residence of the Pasha of Marrakech. After that, explore the hidden Fint Oasis in the mountains, an ancient caravan crossroads. You'll continue along the High-Atlas mountains and arrive in Marrakech by late afternoon, finishing your 4-day desert tour.
